Netflix fans point out the same thing about Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky from iconic Real Housewives scene

We never saw it coming

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) has been on our screens for a staggering 14 years, and we’ve been given a lot of iconic scenes in the process.

Who could forget Denise Richards breaking the fourth wall to deliver ‘bravo, bravo, bravo’? Who could possibly forget the Amsterdam fight?

Not me. "Why don't you have a piece of bread and maybe you'll calm down a little?" is etched into my brain forever.

But by far the most iconic moment every given to us by RHOBH is The Dinner Party From Hell.

If you’ve not watched this absolute TV gold (that aired all the way back in 2010), the basic thing to know is that the cast gathered around a table for a dinner party while psychic Allison DuBois smoked an electronic cigarette and read them all to filth.

At the time, Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky were total couple goals and the picture of an idyllic marriage.

That didn’t stop the sassy psychic telling Kyle that her husband would ‘never emotionally fulfil’ her.

Kyle was not impressed.

She added at the time: “And as soon as the kids are bigger, you’ll have nothing in common.”

Other than this being great reality TV, why are we talking about it again now, you ask?

Well, fans are shocked to discover it seems she was right all along… and it’s very eerie.

Kyle has been separated from husband Mauricio since last year, and Mauricio made comments on the second series of Buying Beverly Hills that bore an uncanny resemblance to Allison's predictions.

He said: “We’ve been parenting since I was 25 years old. Now here we are 27 years later and all of a sudden we are having to learn how to have a relationship without kids. That is very difficult.

“The ultimate dream of being married to somebody forever and eternal — I think we both still have it. But we both want to have it with passion and love.

“And we both want to make sure we don’t sacrifice in order to just stay together for the sake of the drama. At the end of the day, that is really what we are trying to figure out.”

Many people have been quick to point out the interesting parallels between the physic’s predictions and Mauricio’s comments.

One person tweeted: “So I guess that strange psychic at Camille’s dinner party years ago had it right about Kyle and Mauricio.”

Another added: “Not the psychic and her electronic cigarette being right about Kyle and Mauricio.”

A third theorised: "Unpopular opinion: Kyle stayed with Mauricio MUCH longer than she wanted to just because of what the psychic said.”

As for psychic Allison DuBois’ thoughts on the matter?

She told Us Weekly last year: “I know a lot of people thought I’d be happy about [being right] and actually I wasn’t.”

She continued: “These are the predictions that are made that sometimes make people unhappy that when they’re confirmed it doesn’t make you feel good. It’s like predicting a death, but a death of a relationship.”
