If you’ve not seen this award-winning comedy that features top-notch British talent, fans who are discovering it for the first time will tell you all you need to know about it.

That’s right, we have another Netflix banger for you to binge watch and with five seasons out there, you need to catch up.

The comedy drama first hit screen in 2019 and it’s a hell of a ride since.

Created by This Is England and Misfits alumni Joe Gilgun and Danny Brocklehurst, it’s one that has recently made a revival in popularity as viewers finally hop on the bandwagon.

Netflix subscribers may not have known about Brassic before August 22, when it was added to the catalogue, but they’re glad they do now.

Now that the beloved Sky original show had been added to Netflix, fans are all saying the same thing as they hope others go on the wild journey for the first time.

One person wrote on X: “Brassic hitting Netflix, bound to be everyone’s new favourite tv show.”

Another said: “Loved seeing that this is number 2 in the Netflix TV chart today. Brassic is a show that’s come to mean a lot to me - a joyful working class story made by and starring working class people…that doesn’t happen that often on telly and it deserves to be seen by a huge audience.”

Someone else said: “Was there at the start good to see the newbies finally catching on!”

Another wrote about watching the show for the first time: “Not sure why I’m so late to the party watching Brassic, but bloody hell, it’s brilliant. To be fair though, I’d watch anything with Michelle Keegan in it.”

Brassic essentially follows a motley crew of Northerners who are on the verge of adulthood and its equal parts sad and utterly hilarious.

The show follows Vinnie O’Neill (played by Gilgun), his sort of-girlfriend Erin Croft (Michelle Keegan) and Ash Dennings (Aaron Heffernan) as they prey on the residents of Hawley and commit petty crimes to line their pockets.

While there’s only four seasons on Netflix right now, you’ve still got 28 episodes to binge.

As of right now, the show is currently number the number one TV programme in the UK and it holds an average 93 percent score on the Rotten Tomatoes Popcornmeter.

Fans of the show are obviously excited to re-watch from the start without having to wait weekly.

Over on X, one person wrote: “Been feeling ill all day but nothing perks me up like the news that brilliant British comedy series #Brassic is now on Netflix! Watch it now, it is absolutely f**king hilarious.”

“Just seen that Brassic has hit Netflix. Best UK comedy/drama since, I don't know, Minder?” said someone else.

Another added: “Can’t believe it took me this long to watch Brassic when it’s been on tv for actual years, god bless Netflix for giving me the push I clearly needed because it’s BRILLIANT.”

Go on, watch it on Netflix.
