Taylor Swift fans have been well and truly in their element this week as the star featured in a two-hour long podcast episode and spilled the details on her newest studio album.
She 'broke the internet' and shocked the world when it was announced she would be appearing on her boyfriend Travis Kelce's podcast, New Heights, as well as dropping a new record later this year.
And during the episode on Thursday (14 August), the 35-year-old musician revealed the cover art for the first time for her upcoming 12th studio album, titled The Life of a Showgirl.
The album has a mint and orange colour theme with the title added in orange, glittery text framing as Taylor can be seen partially submerged in water donning a stunning diamonté brassiere with embellished detailing.

While most fans are obsessed with the design, some critics have seemingly taken issue with the details after sinking their teeth into her new cover.
Mean trolls are slamming the work as 'looking like it was made on Canva' and arguing that it 'doesn't fit her vibe'.
Meanwhile, a few others prefer the three alternative covers Taylor also released, and wish she would have chosen one of them instead.

One Twitter user wrote: "Is there any chance she’s faking us out and the real cover will be something completely different?"
While a second cruelly wrote: "This is the worst cover she’s ever given us omg" and a third reasoned: "The random editing is bothering me a little. With only her in a tub and album name would have ate."
"Very interesting choice for Taylor, I feel like this doesn’t fit her vibe but what do I know. I also think many in her base will disapprove of this more scandalous look," someone else penned.
Someone else shared the alternative artwork and wrote: "This should have been the main cover," whole another fan agreed: "LOVE IT BUT THIS SHOULD’VE BEEN THE COVER."

"Ummmm I expected more," someone else wrote on Twitter, with another quipping: "Love her and her music a lot but um…this just isn’t it".
And other social media users added: "Somebody made this on Canva" and "I personally wish this was the album cover but regardless she looks AMAZING."
"I get what she was going for but the alternative covers (all other photos) clears this one," pointed out another.

As we said though, on the most part, fans are over the moon with the cover and are already rushing to buy merchandise featuring the design, including posters on her website.
Defending the artist, someone wrote: "THIS COVER IS SUCH A GAG OMG!!! HATERS ALREADY MAD IN THE REPLIES!!!"
While others penned: "ATE with this concept!!" and "Dare I say her best album cover?"

Explaining why she posed in a bathtub for the album cover, the Grammy-winning artist shared shared: "My day ends with me in a bathtub, not usually in a bedazzled dress.
"I wanted to glamorise all the different aspects of how that tour felt."
The Life of a Showgirl will be released on 3 October.
