MAFS UK star Polly reveals drastic weight loss as she shares three things she did to achieve it after the show

Married at First Sight star Polly Sellman has recently stunned fans for detailing her weight loss journey since appearing on the show.

The outspoken MAFS UK bride is best known for her rocky relationship with TV husband Adam Nightingale, with the two of them working through their differences to better their relationship.

The couple were able to move past Adam’s initial lack of physical attraction towards Polly and build some intimacy as the experiment progressed.

Meanwhile, Polly also enraged Adam when she said she’d swap her husband with Stephen Nolson during a game.

Speaking about her body transformation on Instagram, Polly posted side-by-side pictures, comparing her image in March and July and explaining she lost two stones ‘with some help’.

Opening up on her new habits, she wrote: "It’s been a case of upping my water intake, eating less and moving more. And I love that I've found a huge passion for fitness again because of the routine I really kept to, and still do."

Polly, who also dyed her hair blonde, has a goal weight in mind, and said she has a ‘little way to go’ still to reach that, though she intends to keep a ‘healthy relationship’ with food and drink throughout her journey.

"I still have a little way to go to get to my goal weight then when I'm there it's going to be building strength and maintaining the weight I've lost without living a restricted lifestyle and keep a healthy relationship with food and drink,” she wrote.

She also spoke about her renewed confidence, explaining that losing weight has helped her feel more comfortable when wearing certain outfits.

“I've always been confident however not so much with my body, now have a lot more self confidence and feel so much more comfortable in certain clothing whereas I didn't before,” she wrote.

"I dressed well for my shape and size but never felt hugely comfortable just the fact I knew how to dress to hide certain insecurities. However that's now changed and I don't think as much about covering certain things when I'm ordering clothes and it feels sooooo good.”

She concluded: "Roll on the next 8 weeks to see what we can achieve.”

On a recent MAFS episode, Polly was the reluctant co-protagonist of a lip-locking mishap with groom Kieran Chapman.

Kieran, who’s partnered with Kristina Goodsell on the show, positioned himself between Polly and husband Adam during a dinner party and leaned forward for a peck with Polly. While it seemed to be all in jest, with Kieran, Polly, and Adam laughing it off, the gesture upset Kristina.

Kieran then addressed the kiss-gate on Instagram, hinting at him and Kristina clearing the air off-camera.

“Did someone say 'let’s get f**ked up and have a dramatic dinner party? I might have ACCIDENTALLY pecked another bride on the LIPS. #woops,” he wrote, adding: "@kristinagoodsell has the patience of a saint, and I’m super grateful for her."
