Married At First Sight UK's Polly has directly responded to 'hateful' comments after explosive retreat scenes have completely divided viewers.

Now, in case you're not caught up on all the MAFS UK goss, tensions are high right now, with the likes of Polly and Holly clashing with Hannah after they felt she was making inappropriate comments towards the other grooms.

There's been a backlash on social media against Holly and Polly following the ordeal, prompting the latter to take to Instagram to share a message to the trolls online.

Take a look:

She began: "Good morning guys. Filter is in full force because I look horrific.

"I just wanted to hop on, it's just a quick one to say, it's just really strange to me, I can't actually get my head around it."

Polly went on: "It's very strange that people are getting annoyed that I've turned my comments off because I don't want a load of abuse when they are name-calling, body-shaming, slut-shaming, kind of just being horrible in general, really all around but they're getting so annoyed at themselves that they can't send me that hate, and I'm not seeing that hate because it just gets deleted, blocked or gets removed from my requests."

Issuing a direct message to trolls online, she added: "You're no better than me by wanting to send me that just, just a thought.

"You are no better than what you're saying about me, because you can't get your hate and nasty comments to me."

Polly rounded off the story concluding: "It's just a quick one. It's just an observation. But have a lovely, lovely weekend. I love you all, bye!"

And that's not the only retreat drama we've seen this week, as Channel 4 viewers were also equally divided over what some dubbed the 'most awkward thing they’ve ever watched'.

We saw the brides and grooms be whisked away on a retreat, showing an extremely 'awkward' moment between Emma and Caspar when they were 'flirting' and she asked her hubby for a kiss.

Some found the whole thing beyond uncomfortable to watch, with one X user declaring: "This is the most awkward thing I’ve ever watched between Emma and Casper I’m dying inside."

"Watching Emma basically beg for a kiss from Caspar is making me cringe," hit out a second.

A third claimed: "Caspar finds Sacha sexy. Emma's worlds apart in looks, personality, energy & she fancies Luke who’s worlds apart from Caspar. Really let them go."

"Emma flirting with Caspar was somehow the most awkward and the BEST thing I've seen on TV in ages," quipped another.

And a fourth X user echoed: "Omg this scene where Emma wants to kiss Caspar - I am cringing but it’s so funny and sweet at the same time."

Others, however, were far more into the moment with one MAFS UK fan writing: "Caspar and Emma really trying with each other and laughing. It’s lovely."

A second confessed: "Why am I kinda shipping Emma and Caspar now?"

"Emma and Caspar have been trolling us. They're actually so cute," praised another while a final user added: "I think Caspar and Emma just melted my heart. Her face when he grabbed her hand."

What do you make of it?
