Fans of Love Island are slowly becoming obsessed with Ellie Chadwick.
The 24-year-old Scottish Islander is unapologetically herself, with a straight-talking attitude and a willingness to say exactly what’s on her mind.
Whether she's getting to know the boys in the villa or navigating the inevitable drama that comes with it, Ellie has become one of the contestants that viewers are keeping a close eye on.
That attention has extended to her wardrobe, too.
We may only be three weeks into series 13 of Love Island UK, and Ellie’s already made headlines after being spotted carrying a Prada handbag around the villa.
Now, another detail about her Island looks has caught our eye.
Throughout her time on the show, Ellie has regularly been seen wearing a pair of Nomination bracelets.
It’s a small detail, but one that instantly stands out if you grew up in the late 90s or early 2000s.

Ellie's been a fan of Nomination bracelets for a while
These bracelets aren’t just something Ellie’s been wearing in the villa, though.
A quick scroll back through her Ellie’s Instagram feed shows she's been wearing them long before heading to Majorca, with the jewellery being seen in photos dating back to 2023.
In an era where Islanders are often linked to the latest trends, there's something refreshingly personal about seeing an accessory that appears to have been part of somebody's everyday style for a long time.
@ellechadwickk on Instagram For anyone unfamiliar with Nomination, the brand became hugely popular in the UK during the late 90s and early 2000s thanks to its signature charm bracelets.
Made up of interchangeable stainless steel links, the bracelets allowed you to build a piece of jewellery that was unique to you.
The concept was simple. You'd start with a plain bracelet and build it over time by adding individual charms and links to mark birthdays, holidays, milestones or whatever else you wanted to remember.
At one point, it felt like everyone had one.
Before Pandora became the 'it' brand for charm jewellery, Nomination was the bracelet many people wanted to collect.
Nomination bracelet resurgence
While charm bracelets have never completely disappeared, Nomination’s popularity naturally faded as new jewellery trends emerged.
However, like so many fashion staples from the early 2000s, they’ve quietly found their way back.
With Y2K style rising to popularity again on TikTok, it has brought everything from low-rise jeans and baguette bags to chunky jewellery back into fashion.
Nomination bracelets have also benefited from that revival as they’ve gone from being an outdated trend to cute and vintage.
Interestingly, Ellie doesn't appear to be wearing hers the way many of us used to wear them, loaded up with charms, back in the day.
Instead, she's opted for the classic bracelets with the odd charm, rather than having every link covered in one.
From what we've seen in the villa, she appears to wear both a silver and a gold version, making them easy to mix and match with different outfits.
Whether viewers are invested in her latest romantic developments or simply keeping tabs on her villa outfits, Ellie has managed to put a piece of jewellery many people had forgotten about back on the radar.
Thanks to Ellie, we're seriously considering digging our old bracelets out of the jewellery box and seeing if they're still wearable.
And if you know where all our tiny charms ended up, let us know.
You can watch Love Island every night from Sunday-Friday at 9pm on ITV2 or catch up with the entire series any time on ITVX.
