I’m A Celeb star Danny Jones' wife has spilled all on a 'huge lie' he told producers before heading into jungle, and apparently it's all part of a 'double bluff'.

It's been a little over a week since the 38-year-old McFly singer entered the camp and it's clear ITV viewers have loved seeing him fare Down Under with many rushing to praise him over his candid discussion of his mental health struggles.

It's also been a laugh watching Danny take on the various Bushtucker Trials as he confronts his fears all in the hopes of winning stars for the fellow celebs back in camp.

Danny's been very upfront about his fear of snakes and faced it head on during Friday night's trial (22 November).

The trial, aptly titled 'High Street of Horrors', saw the 'Five Colours in Her Hair' star face a room filled with snakes which is clearly not ideal for someone who has a phobia of the slippery reptiles.

However, Danny's wife Georgie reckons all that chat about his supposed fears is simply 'bullsh*t'.

Speaking on Joel Dommett and Hannah Cooper's Never Have I Ever podcast, Georgie revealed that Danny fibbed to the producers as part of a pretty elaborate strategy for him to do well on the show.

"He's lied, and he said he's scared of snakes; bullsh*t - world exclusive: bullsh*t," she claimed before adding: "So, everyone vote for the tasks that don't involve snakes, please! He’s not scared of snakes, but he said he is, that’s a double bluff."

Georgie continued: "He's now going to get tasks with snakes - I think they think Danny's a really genuine guy! The only problem with Danny is he's not great when he's hungry or tired, and he's going to be hungry and tired."

Elsewhere in the chat, Georgie opened up about the difficulty of picking just one luxury for her hubby because of the fact he didn't even know what he wanted himself.

"This man has never fussed so much over the fact that he can't tape his mouth in the jungle; he tapes his mouth at night," Georgie added.

"It’s meant to have many, many health benefits - it’s literally like a piece of gaffer tape," she added.

"It's like a massive plaster of your lips."
