An Usher fan who went viral for her awkward response to being on stage has hit out at trolls and explained her side of the story.
Now, fans of the 47-year-old American singer will know that during his ongoing co-headlining R&B Tour with Chris Brown, he picks a woman out of the crowd to join him for a steamy rendition of ‘Can U Handle It?’
However, the participant he chose in Nashville on Saturday (25 July) seemingly didn’t have the reaction the star was hoping for.
Fan footage from the concert has gone viral, showing fan Gabrielle Cheyenne sitting on a bed on stage for the song’s performance.

But after she appeared uncomfortable when the singer got closer to her, he stopped the show and asked the audience: “I don’t think she want to be on the stage, huh?”
Usher then motioned for her to leave the stage and walked away, with the moment racking up thousands of views on social media.
After receiving a slew of unfair hate, Gabrielle came forward with a statement hitting back at the criticism, which has since been deleted.
As shared by The Neighborhood Talk and Complex, Gabrielle reportedly wrote on Facebook: “First off NOBODY is declining to go on stage. I looked good asf, you thought I wasn't gonna let THOUSANDS of people see me?? On the big screen, where you b****es will never be????"
Angrily, she continued: “My mom and I had FLOOR SEATS. Their team approached us and moved us to VIP before the show even started !! PRETTY PRIVILEGES something you h**s will never know about!!
“They don't say who you're going up there for!! Y'all wanted me to get up there and f**k him atp ?? CHATT FOLKS AREN'T USED TO ANYTHING.”
Gabrielle wrote: That's the most exciting thing that would've happened in y'all little ass lives !! F**k y'all, DISRESPECTFULLY." Ouch.
Taking to Instagram, she later clarified that her Facebook post was aimed at ‘hating h**es’ in her city, Chattanooga.
She wrote: “Hence why it says CHATT FOLKS AREN’T USED TO ANYTHING.”
The fan continued in a second Instagram Story: “My attitude isn’t ‘nasty’ until I’m provoked. Y’all aren’t gonna get on the internet calling me out my name and disrespecting me and expect me to keep it cool! Y’all don’t know me in real life!
“I’m quiet and keep to myself, but don’t think that y’all are gonna bully me about an EXPERIENCE that y’all didn’t get.”
