It's the announcement that Swifties have long been waiting for... Taylor Swift is engaged to boyfriend Travis Kelce!
And to mark the occasion, her future-husband's father has spilt all the tea when it comes to Travis' proposal plans.
For those out of the loop with the internet-breaking announcement, the big-name couple's happy news was confirmed last night (26 Aug) with a post shared to Instagram.
The photo dump saw Tay and Trav, both 35, posing adoringly together in a rose garden in Lee's Summit, Missouri, with one snap showing the NFL star getting down on one knee to ask the Grammy-winner the all-important question.

Another image showed Taylor sporting her colossal engagement ring - an old mine brilliant-cut diamond in a gold bezel setting designed by Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry.
Taylor and Travis captioned their post - which has accumulated over 26 million likes in just under 12 hours: "Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married."

As we say, further details on the couple's engagement have since been brought to light by Ed Kelce, the father of the Kansas City Chiefs star, who says the wedding preparations have actually been underway for some time.
"Travis actually did the proposal, oh, maybe two weeks, not quite two weeks ago," Ed told News 5's John Kosich earlier today (27 Aug). "He was going to put it off till this week.
"I think she was getting maybe a little antsy, but he was going to put her off till this week, to, you know, make some grand thing, to make it a big special event."
Ed went on to claim: "And I told him repeatedly, you know, you could do it on the side of the road, do it any place that makes it a special event ... when you get down on one knee and ask her to marry you."

He added that Taylor's own father, Scott Swift, had been issuing Travis with the same warning.
"He got her out there, they were about to go out to dinner, and he said, 'Let's go out and have a glass of wine,'" Ed went on. "They got out there, and that's when he asked her, and it was beautiful.
"They started FaceTiming me and their mother and her folks to make sure everybody knew.

"So, to see them together is great."
At the time, Ed had been at American football practice - 'a public practice that they had a lot of people that, well, the Eagles had 60,000 people at a public practice two weeks ago on a Sunday night'.
"So at that practice," he continued. "I got a FaceTime call from them, and as soon as I saw the FaceTime, I saw it was Travis, and then I saw Taylor there with him, I knew what they were going to say, and they, you know, let us know."

And after seeing the nearly-weds together for the first time, Ed claims he knew with absolute certainty he was in the presence of true love.
"We actually went to a thing in KC Sunday night, which was an ESPN airing of 'The Kingdom' and went to that," he explained.
"And his mother and I went with him back to his house for dinner, where Taylor made dinner, and we had a wonderful dinner with them outside on the patio and to just watch the two of them, just crazy about each other. It's truly kinda neat."
Asked if they've set a date yet, the Kelce family patriarch claimed the two are simply relishing their engagement for now.
"They're just two young people very much in love, cast in a spotlight that they really haven't sought but kind of followed with their success in their respective fields," he added.
