There is one actor who is the richest of them all and you’ve probably never heard of her.
When we think of rich actors, we usually go for the ones who have made their mark on the entertainment industry.
This could be Tom Cruise, or Brad Pitt, or even George Clooney- but they don’t compare to the wealth of this one person.
Despite having amassed a huge net worth, this celebrity has kept their time in the spotlight minimal, as they dabble in other avenues of income to build this mega-fortune.

She surpasses all the ranks of riches, and despite this, you’ll likely struggle to put her face to a film, mostly because she’s never won an award for her work on the big screen.
As it turns out, the world's richest actor is, in fact, actress Jami Gertz.
The 59-year-old first began acting in 1981 after landing a small role in the rom-com, On the Right Track. After that, Gertz ended up featuring in films such as the comedy-horror The Lost Boys, as well as the drama Less Than Zero, and even the disaster movie Twister – which inspired the Daisy Edgar Jones and Glen Powell's remake.
With 23 feature films on her resume, you might think it surprising that she has so much money in the bank, but it’s all thanks to her philanthropy and her husband, Tony Ressler's, business.
Gertz is now worth around $8 billion, according to Celebrity Net Worth, with her income is much higher than Cruise, Pitt and even Jennifer Aniston.
Gertz's fortune even exceeds wealthy musicians like Taylor Swift, who is worth $1.6 billion thanks to her Eras Tour.
She’s even richer than Steven Spielberg, a huge director who is worth $5.3 billion.
Gertz actually bagged her wealth after putting her career on hold and marrying Ressler, who is worth $10.9 billion, as per Forbes.
Thanks to his business deals, and her joining his work, the pair went on to build a massive stash of cash.
Gertz and Ressler joined an investment group led by Mark Attanasio which purchased the Milwaukee Brewers of Major League Baseball, The Daily Mail reports.
They also went on to be the part owners of NBA team Atlanta Hawks.
Ressler co-founded a private equity firm before meeting his wife, called Apollo Global in 1990 along with his brother-in-law, racking in his money.
But if you thought she just married rich, you’re wrong.
She told the Hollywood Reporter in 2018: "Everyone thinks I married a rich guy,' she said. 'But I made more money — way more money — than Tony when I met him."
"I paid for our first house. I paid for our first vacation," she added. “I married him because I fell in love with him."
On that note, maybe it’s time to break the news that Swift isn’t the richest musician, that title goes to Jay-Z, whose empire is worth $2 billion, almost double Swift's net worth.
