Taylor Swift has had a busy few years, and it's clear her bank balance perfectly reflects just how much hype she's garnering at the moment.
The sheer wealth of the 35-year-old 'Opalite' singer, whose net worth was a 'mere' $365 million just five years ago in 2020, has skyrocketed following the release of five original studio albums and four re-recorded 'Taylor's Version' albums, totalling nine albums as of now. Her original albums include Folklore, Evermore, Midnights, The Tortured Poets Department, The Life of a Showgirl and her re-recordings of Fearless, Red, Speak Now, and 1989.
On top of all that, she's also embarked on her Eras Tour and delighted Swifties across the globe with a concert film - so it’s no surprise that her net worth has grown hundreds of millions in the span of just a few years!
But how much is Taylor actually worth now, as people make an important point about her excessive wealth?

Well, following the release of TLOAS, Bloomberg helpfully updated their estimate of Taylor’s wealth and said, as of October 2025, she is now worth over $2.1 billion!
That's a whole $1 billion from just two years ago.
"Some of that increase can be attributed to money from her record-busting Eras Tour and concert movie that’s still trickling in," the outlet reports, adding that some is down to royalties from streaming as she was Spotify’s top global artist for the second year running in 2024.

"A teeny-tiny bit of that bump is from her ravishing engagement ring from fiancé Travis Kelce," Bloomberg adds, before noting: "Her all-important catalogue now makes up an even bigger chunk of her net worth since she announced in May that she’d bought back rights to her early albums from Shamrock Capital, consolidating control of all her music."
And, lastly, the outlet concludes that some of the fortune is simply down to the markets.

"Swift’s fortune is largely based on cash, which we assume she’s mostly invested, probably well, with help from her dad, a Merrill Lynch financial adviser," Bloomberg shared.

After catching light of the colossal figure, critics rushed to social media to share their thoughts, with one Reddit user declaring: "No one should have that much money."
"Not surprising. Her value is going to keep shooting up," penned a second while a third chimed in: "How is this possible omg we live in hell."
Another jabbed: "Don’t forget to buy one of the 32 variants of her new album, gotta keep that money in her account.
"I find it genuinely funny that people will scream eat the rich when it goes to other manipulative people with hoards of money but Taylor Swift is meant to be shielded from that, as if she’s not the problem."

And a final Redditer slammed: "There are no ethical billionaires."
