Kayla Nicole's Halloween costume has sparked a debate online as people are convinced it was a dig at her ex Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift - and the Swifties have come out in full force.
In case you missed it, the sports journalist, 34, dressed up as R&B icon Toni Braxton and recreated the music video for her 2000 hit song, 'He Wasn't Man Enough For Me'.
She slipped into a metallic bikini and see-through rhinestone dress as she lip-synced and danced in a clip shared to Instagram, alongside the caption: "She’s an icon. She’s a legend. She’s @tonibraxton circa 2000. #Halloween25."
Now, the internet is convinced this was Kayla throwing shade at her ex Travis and his new pop star fiancée.

The lyrics go: "Did you know about us back then? Do you know I dumped your husband, girlfriend? /'I'm not thinking 'bout him / But you married him / Do you know I made him leave? / Do you know he begged to stay with me? / He wasn't man enough for me."

For those who need a reminder, Kayla and Travis began dating back in 2017 and were on-again, off-again for five years, before eventually breaking up for good in 2022.
Taylor and Travis then began dating in the summer of 2023 and fans think the singer took aim at Kayla with a song on her new album, The Life of a Showgirl.

The lyrics on the song 'Opalite' go: "You couldn’t understand it, why you felt alone / You were in it for real, she was in her phone / And you were just a pose." Ouch.
As we say, the whole Halloween costume debacle has reignited the debate, with some Swifties laying into Kayla for the choice, while other social media users defended her and praised her for the bold move.
One Taylor fan brutally wrote on Twitter: "Taylor is one of the biggest artists in the world and happily engaged and she's out here doing this petty s**t lmao."
While a second joked: "Travis wins Superbowls, Taylor wins Grammys, and Kayla wins imaginary Halloween costume contests. All such talented people."

And a third quipped: "The way Taylor won the IDGAF war while Kayla Nicole is losing her mind every single day since September 2023."
"I’m crying cuz people on TikTok genuinely think Taylor is bothered by Kayla Nicole Halloween post," wrote a fourth.

Jumping in to applaud the media personality, someone else penned: "I usually don’t give a f**k about this but Kayla Nicole won this weekend. She got to be petty with her Halloween costume and then watch him lose this Sunday. November Scorpios have definitely arrived."

"Really dgaf about Kayla Nicole and idk why so many people, especially Swifties, do," reasoned a second.
While a third wrote: "Taylor Swift linked Kayla Nicole to a narrative she never consented to. Kayla has the right to restore her image, 'Don’t twist the story. I left him. I’m not competing for him.' Taylor tried to humiliate her, but Kayla still controls her own version of the story."
And a fourth agreed: "Kayla Nicole had the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever and she did it. That is real bad b**ch behavior."
"Taylor Swift gonna smash tables with her guitar after she sees this. Kayla Nicole ATE," penned a fifth.
