Sophie Turner unfollows sister-in-law Priyanka Chopra following Joe Jonas split

Sophie Turner unfollows sister-in-law Priyanka Chopra following Joe Jonas split

The Game of Thrones star is no longer following her sister-in-law amid divorce from Joe Jonas.

Sophie Turner is no longer following her sister-in-law Priyanka Chopra amid her split from Joe Jonas, 34.

The pair got married back in 2019 after eloping to Las Vegas for a surprise wedding, and have since had two children together; Willa, three, and another little girl named Delphine whom they welcomed in 2022.

Back in September, Jonas and the Game of Thrones actor called it quits after four years of marriage and since then, Sophie has been fairly quiet on social media… until now.

On Sunday 8th October, the 27-year-old broke her silence by taking to her Instagram Stories to post a snap wearing a friendship bracelet which had the word ‘Fearless’ on it, and that just so happens to be the title of Taylor Swift’s second studio album.

But now, it has come to the attention of netizens that the mum-of-two is no longer following the former Quantico star as of Friday the 13th, although it’s unclear when she split social media ties with Nick Jonas’ wife.

However, Sophie still follows Nick, 31, as well as Kevin, 35, and his wife Danielle, 35.

Priyanka, 41, was a bridesmaid and flower girl at Sophie and Joe’s Las Vegas wedding and all three Jonas wives looked like the best of chums in the band’s music videos for ‘Sucker’ and ‘What a Man Gotta Do’.

Tyla has contacted Sophie Turner's representatives for comment.

Joe filed for divorce from Turner at the Miami Dade County Court last month (5 September), with NBC News reporting that the ‘Burning Up’ singer said their marriage was 'irretrievably broken'.

A day later (6 September), the pair took to Instagram to announce in a joint statement confirmation of the split, writing: "After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage.

Following the announcement post, Turner sued Jonas for the wrongful retention of their two children after claiming her withheld their passports and didn't allow them to return to England on 20 September.

Shortly after Sophie sued, Joe disputed the claim and his' team went on to issue a lengthy statement shortly after and mentioned that the pair would work together towards an amicable co-parenting setup'.

The former couple shared a joint statement on Tuesday (10 October) after reaching a temporary agreement for custody of their two daughters, Willa, three, and Delphine, one.

"After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the U.S. and the UK. We look forward to being great co-parents," they said in a statement.

The agreement is apparently only in place until 7 January 2024, as per court documents obtained by People.
