It's the stuff of nightmares: imagine sharing a cute pic on socials only to realise you've left something X-rated in the background.
That's what happened to Selena Gomez, who revealed more than intended when she shared a sweet photo of herself.
The star has recently opened up about the fact she is unlikely to ever carry children of her own, due to her health conditions and the medication she is taking.
Selena is incredibly loved up with fiancé Benny Blanco, and shared that the couple might adopt or try surrogacy instead. The pair started dating in 2023, after Selena, 33, and Benny, 37, worked together for many years before.

Benny popped the question in December 2024, and Selena regularly raves about her love, captioning a pic with 'I’m not sure what I did to deserve you but damn am I glad you were born'.
Fans were left with no doubt about the fact the couple are having fun though, when Selena accidentally left something in plain sight in the background of her photo.
The Only Murders In The Building star shared a carousel of photos to Instagram, and it wasn't long before eagle-eyed fans spotted something which probably left Selena blushing.
In the pic, she is seen relaxing on the sofa, surrounded by album covers, and posing making the peace sign.
One fan posted on TikTok that they'd noticed something, with a voiceover saying: "Oh my God, what is that?"
They wrote: "No shade to Selena and Benny, I’m just a nosy fan who wants to see all the products my fav celebrities use and came across this specific product on her windowsill.
"Love that Benny is keeping our girl happy and satisfied. Loooove this couple!" they joked.
It turns out there is a bottle of KY Jelly lubricant on the windowsill.
Whoops.
Commenters rushed to reply with quips of their own.
"Did we not hear that he has a really big…. heart," joked one, talking about a lyric from the song the couple made, called 'Sunset Blvd'.
"Y’all didn’t listen to the album and it shows cause she literally told y’all," insisted another.
One viewer thought it was a deliberate choice: "Exactly. She’s not hiding anything and I love her for it."
Someone else didn't feel like it was worth making a fuss about, and asked what people gained from it: "Okay and? why are y'all zooming in anyway?"
Another commenter had a more innocent suggestion: "Ppl use lube for skin conditions and dryness which is prob why it’s sitting with other products that she likely has to use for lupus side effects."
