Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are one of Hollywood's golden couples, and they routinely make jokes at each other's expense - and now one has been immortalised in film.

Ryan's latest film release Deadpool and Wolverine has captured his and his wife Blake's tongue in cheek humour as the opening scenes hint at his love for her with an x-rated joke.

In the new Marvel Studios film, Ryan has managed to sneak in a cheeky reference to one of his wife's most famous roles.

Blake, who has starred in both TV and movies, is also well known for her role as Serena van der Woodsen in Gossip Girl, and it's now made its way into Ryan's latest film.

In the opening sequence, Ryan as Wade Wilson/Deadpool is caught by the TVA digging up Hugh Jackman's character, Wolverine.

In typical Deadpool humour, Ryan's character then turns to the camera and jokes: "There are 206 bones in my body — 207 if I’m watching Gossip Girl.”

The couple, who have been married since 2012 and share four children, also gave fans a clue into their marriage and their relationship when they attended the movie premiere this week.

Body language and behavioural expert Darren Stanton, on behalf of Slingo, has decoded their body language, whilst they posed for pictures.

In a video posted to TikTok, the couple look relaxed and smiled as they posed on the red carpet, but the expert has revealed they use ‘matching and mirroring’ body signals.

Darren explained what this means as he told Tyla: "In footage of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively at the premiere, they could be seen with the bottom half of their torsos facing each other which shows they are attracted to one another and that can’t be faked, that is natural.

"They have a solid and deep relationship built on trust and rapport.

"We call this matching and mirroring where their postures are facing each other.

"Their eye contact is also amazing and they have prolonged eye contact, which is typically reserved for family and a romantic partner."

He added: "At lots of media events with paparazzi, we often see masked emotions of happiness and joy, but Blake and Ryan are showing genuine enjoyment and happiness at being photographed and the centre of attention.

"What you see is what you get with these two, they are open and honest about their affection in public, even in front of the cameras."
