Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds gave away major clue about their relationship at recent premiere

Walking the red carpet with your other half is something most of us will never get the chance to experience.

With so many cameras on you, it’s totally normal to feel like all eyes are on your relationship and just one micro-expression could be analysed by hoards of people online.

Thankfully, we can trust one A-list couple to present only green flags - Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

On Monday (22 July), the pair - who have been married since September 2012 - attended the NYC premiere for Ryan's latest film, Deadpool & Wolverine.

And it apparently told us all we needed to know about how they feel about each other.

Body language and behavioural expert Darren Stanton, on behalf of Slingo, gave us the down low on what Blake and Ryan were telling each other through their body language while paparazzi were snapping pics at the event.

In a video posted to TikTok, the couple look relaxed and smiled as they posed for pictures.

But they apparently gave us a major clue for how their relationship is going.

It’s through their ‘matching and mirroring’.

Darren told Tyla: “In footage of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively at the premiere, they could be seen with the bottom half of their torsos facing each other which shows they are attracted to one another and that can’t be faked, that is natural.

"They have a solid and deep relationship built on trust and rapport.

"We call this matching and mirroring where their postures are facing each other.

"Their eye contact is also amazing and they have prolonged eye contact, which is typically reserved for family and a romantic partner.”

To the untrained eye, it might not be easy to work out whether a celeb couple is putting on a show in front of the paps, but Darren says he can definitely tell.

He explained: “At lots of media events with paparazzi, we often see masked emotions of happiness and joy, but Blake and Ryan are showing genuine enjoyment and happiness at being photographed and the centre of attention.

"What you see is what you get with these two, they are open and honest about their affection in public, even in front of the cameras.”

However, according to the expert, the way Blake and Ryan interact shows that they’re not putting on a show and are being legitimate about how they feel about each other.

Breaking it down, Darren said: “Key things that tell us they are calm and comfortable are their blink rate, when someone is stressed this tends to increase but theirs is maintained throughout.

"There’s no closed body language, no crossed arms or ankles, there are no distressed signals such as hands in their pockets.

“Overall they look very much in love and it's clear they trust each other.”

It looks like everyone’s favourite celebrity couple is continuing to go from strength to strength.

But apart from their obvious love for each other, fans were quick to note that Blake is looking a little like she’s Deadpool herself in her themed outfit.

Fans were all over it, claiming that it’s further proof she’s playing the Lady Deadpool character we've seen teased in the run up to the movie.

One can only hope!
