Amazon Prime's steamy Off Campus scene starring Belmont Cameli was actually really awkward to film

It's been a few weeks now since Off Campus dropped on Amazon Prime and, let's just say, the hype is real.

The steamy eight-parter features a whole bunch of love triangle drama, steamy sex scenes and the odd karaoke flirtation tactic, and it's no surprise it's already skyrocketed to the '#1 in the UK' spot on the streaming platform.

The TV series stars Saved by the Bell actor Belmont Cameli as Garrett Graham and Malory Towers' Ella Bright as Hannah Wells.

Based on Elle Kennedy's bestselling book series, the first season of Off Campus follows the unlikely romance between wry, hockey-hating music major Hannah and Briar U's womanising star center Garrett as they strike a deal to help each other out.

During the season, we see sparks fly between Garrett and Hannah, which only inevitably leads to them getting it on together - multiple times.

Now, there's one particularly NSFW scene which Cameli has revealed was actually really awkward to film.

For those not in the know, the scene came during episode four, where Hannah asks Garrett to 'give her an orgasm' to help her 'get ready' for eventually having sex with her crush, Justin (Josh Heuston).

Hannah's request came after she told Garret that she hadn't been able to orgasm with a man since she was raped in high school.

Instead of having sex, Garret suggests they sit across one another in his bedroom as they mutually masturbate until they both reach climax together as a way to help Hannah comfortably ease back into intimacy with others.

The camera pans to both characters' facial expressions as they're getting themselves off, making sure to add in a couple of extra toe-curling shots for good measure.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight about the scene, Cameli explained: "I'll tell a funny story about an intimacy scene because in episode four, there's the scene where, you know, you think that Hannah and Garrett are just going to have sex and he's going to give her that orgasm, but it doesn't turn out that way."

He continued: "And we shot that all day long, except for the little part where I get myself off in the TV show we didn't get to.

"So a couple of days later, I went back with the camera guys, and I just did that little portion. And then that scene was complete.

"It was so funny. It was alone in the room. And I was like, 'All right, boys, look away'."
