We've only just recovered from the jam-packed drama of this year's Golden Globes, and already the biggest names in cinema have once again flocked together for another red carpet soiree.

We are, of course, talking about the star-studded 2024 Critics Choice Awards, which took place last night (14 January) at Santa Monica's Barker Hanger.

It was surely to be a night of glitz, glamour and celebrities - however, there's nothing that people love more from these awards ceremonies than a good ole' reaction shot.

I mean, how else are we gonna supply our memes for the upcoming year?

And this month's entry came courtesy of Ryan Gosling, who had a pretty hilarious reaction when 'I'm Just Ken' from the hit Barbie movie landed the award for Best Original Song.

I guess you could say he was 'Kenshook'.

Ryan Gosling appeared confused by the win.

As opposed to bursting into a wide-eyed smile when his name was called out to receive the award, the Canadian actor appeared a mix between horrified and baffled.

The 43-year-old then opted to cooly lift an eyebrow and look around at his co-attendees in amazement.

However, instead of heading up to the stage when his name was called, the Notebook star remained sat whilst writers Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt accepted the award instead.

But credit was given where credit was due as Ronson said that, without Gosling, the song wouldn't have hit the heights that it did.

He said from the stage: "Ryan Gosling, this is as much your award as ours.

"You made the audience fall in love with this song with your matchless performance, so thank you."

As well as Gosling, Ronson also gave a shout out to Barbie's director Greta Gerwig - as well as her husband and co-writer Noah Noah Baumbach - for allowing the song to be apart of the movie.

"The fact that you carved out 11 minutes for this prog-rock, power-ballad, dream-ballet, shred fest so the boys could cry and hold hands a little too," he said.

"We're really forever in your debt for that."

And of course, the actor's facial expressions have been doing the rounds on social media - with one viewer penning: "Bro was flabbergasted he thought it was a prank."

Another teased: "We did it boys. We memed our way into success."

"Yoooo Ryan Gosling's face on the 'I'm just Ken' song SENT ME!" a third wrote.

And a fourth said: "WHY IS RYAN GOSLING REACTION TO "I'M JUST KEN" WINNING BEST SONG JUST SO KEN."

I guess 'Kenergy' is just a constant state of mind.
