Robert Irwin certainly got the internet talking last week after featuring in his very first scantily-clad photoshoot - and today, he's been sharing some behind-the-scenes shots.

The 21-year-old conservationist - and the son of late crocodile hunter Steve Irwin - partnered up with the Australian underwear brand Bonds on Thursday (3 April), which has been in business since 1915 and recently debuted in the US.

To mark the brand's progress, the zookeeper and TV presenter took part in campaign aptly titled 'Made for Down Under' that left fans' hearts stopping for several different reasons.

As well as showing off his impressive physique in a number of rather risqué snaps, he also posed alongside a number of deadly creatures - including real-life snakes and crocodiles - all the while modelling the underwear garments.

And in one photo in particular, Irwin's followers were stopped in their tracks after it dawned on them that the tattoo they believed had been inked onto his left shoulder was actually another critter.

One fan pointed out after the snaps were shared to social media: "At first, I thought the spider was a tattoo!"

Another said: "Not me thinking the spider on his arm was a tattoo and not a real one!"

In a new update, Irwin has since shared some behind-the-scenes shots from his day behind the camera. Taking to Instagram again on Sunday (6 April), the star was seen posing in a dressing room, seemingly flexing his abdominal muscles and showing off his tan whilst holding a pair of sunglasses in his hand - with not a spider in sight.

"Between takes shooting for @bondsaus. #Ad," he captioned the post.

The underwear brand itself wrote back in the comments: "Living legend - how does it feel to break the internet?"

And by the look of the rest of the comments, many of Irwin's fans are in agreement that he did just that.

"Help I’m endangered & in need of rescuing," one jibed, while another joked: "American tourists are on the way."

"Bad day to not be an alligator," a third teased.

Irwin previously opened up to PEOPLE Magazine about his decision to be part of the campaign, claiming there was there was no hesitation with his answer when he got the call after the publication shared the images.

"It was a pretty immediate yes," he shared. "I wish I could say I was very suave and cool about the whole thing, but I was like, 'Yes! Let's do it!' Because Bonds in Australia is an absolute icon."

He continued: "Also, I'm at this point in my life where I'm trying to do as many different and random exciting things, and if it's something that makes me a little bit nervous, that I've never done before and it's a bit of an adrenaline rush?

"That's what I want to be doing."

Well, we can't (and won't) argue with that...
