Halle Berry praised for 'owning' 60 with 'half-naked' snaps
Turning 60 has never looked quite so good.
Today (14 Aug) marks Halle Berry's milestone birthday, and the Oscar-winning actress is celebrating in a way that has fans seriously impressed by sharing a series of sultry, barely-there snaps that have seen her hailed for 'owning' her age.
The star has never been one to shy away from showing off her figure, and her latest Instagram 'dump' is no exception. Posing in a series of racy snaps, Berry looked every inch the confident birthday girl as she soaked up her big day.
And by the sounds of things, fans were very much here for it.

"Cannot be more obsessed with this!!!!" one person commented, while another declared: "Not a single f*ck left in stock!! Carry on, @halleberry!"
A third fan celebrated the ex-'Bond girl's' decision to embrace her body, writing: "I like the half-nakedness! The freedom of being naked is beyond words!"
Another gushed: "@halleberry if age ain’t a number was a person!!! Yassss my Lioness sister let ’em know."
"I know that’s right sista!" someone else wrote, while another summed up the mood perfectly: "60 has never looked better!"
But for Berry, feeling confident in her skin is about far more than a few-hundred Insta likes.
The actress has spoken openly over the years about body image, ageing and the pressure placed on women to look young forever. Rather than hiding the changes that come with getting older, she's repeatedly encouraged women to embrace their bodies as they evolve.
Two years ago, for an Oprah Daily article about the importance of embracing our femininity, even when faced with changes like the menopause, Berry urged readers to 'stop trying to be eternally 30 and allow ourselves to be whatever age we are'.
"We need to embrace ourselves, embrace our body as it changes, embrace our space as it changes," she continued. "We are blessed to be here.
"Real confidence and a sense of feeling sexy and empowered come from knowing that we do get better with every year."
The actress also slammed the centuries-old notion that women somehow become less valuable as they get older.
"Society has told us that when we turn a certain age, we’re no longer valuable, vital, important. That there’s no use for us."
The mother-of-two warned: "But we have to stand up and say no. I reject that theory."
At the time, Berry was still two years away from the big six-zero, but she already had her sights firmly set on the milestone.
"Sixty is just two years away for me," she said at the time. "I feel like I am my best self, and I think I’m going to be more of my best self at 60.
"I’m on a path of longevity, discovering every day what I need to do to arrive in good health. And that feels empowering.
"I feel confident. I feel strong. I feel sexy. I’m wiser and smarter than I ever was."
Lastly, she predicted: "I think 60 is going to be a glorious time, and I’m very much looking forward to it."
And by the looks of things, she's relishing every moment.
