Rob Reiner's daughter, Tracy, has spoken out after he and his wife, Michele, were found dead over the week (14 December).
Detectives have been investigating an 'apparent homicide' after two bodies were found at the actor’s home on Sunday, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) told the Press Association.
"The Robbery Homicide Division responded to the residence, which has been identified as the home of Rob Reiner," officials previously confirmed. "At this time, no further details are available as this is an ongoing RHD investigation into an apparent homicide."
The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) says it responded to a medical aid request shortly after 3.30 pm on Sunday and found a 78-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman dead inside.

Investigators believe the individuals suffered stab wounds, and a family member is being questioned, an official said.

A spokesman for the family soon confirmed the death of the Hollywood filmmaker and his wife of more than 35 years, photographer and actress Michele.
As per the BBC, a family spokesperson said in a statement: "It is with profound sorrow that we announce the tragic passing of Michele and Rob Reiner.
"We are heartbroken by this sudden loss, and we ask for privacy during this unbelievably difficult time."
Rob had a blended family of four children: Tracy, Jake, Nick and Romy.
The When Harry Met Sally director adopted Tracy, the biological daughter of his former wife, Penny Marshall and then went on to have three biological children of his own - Jake, Nick, and Romy - with his second wife, Michele.
"I came from the greatest family ever," Tracy told NBC News. "I don’t know what to say. I’m in shock."

She added that she had just seen her father the day before for a family gathering.
Nick has been arrested and is in custody, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD) Inmate Centre records.
The 32-year-old was arrested on Sunday and 'booked for murder' on Monday (15 December).
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass called the deaths 'a devastating loss for the city and our country,' saying she is 'holding all who loved Rob and Michele in my heart'.
"An acclaimed actor, director, producer, writer, and engaged political activist, [Rob] always used his gifts in service of others," Bass said in a statement, adding that 'he and Michele fought for early childhood development and marriage equality, working to overturn Proposition 8. They were true champions for LGBTQ+ rights'.
