Pete Davidson’s odyssey to remove his extensive tattoo collection is well-documented, but it turns out that the comedian may not want to be a complete blank canvas after all.
At one point, the Saturday Night Live alum, 32, had around 200 tattoos, including tributes to ex-partners Ariana Grande and Kim Kardashian, a heartbreaking memorial to his late father, Scott Davidson, and matching ‘we babies’ ink with singer Miley Cyrus.
In 2020, the star began his laser journey, initially explaining he was tired of the lengthy process of removing them in the make-up chair ahead of acting roles.
Davidson later said that when he got sober, he looked at himself in the mirror and said: “Nah. I was like, I need to change it up a little bit,” as per TODAY.

The King of Staten Island favourite may have erased some sentimental tattoos - and said that the process had been ‘horrible’ to go through - but that doesn’t necessarily mean he is against getting more.
According to E! News, Davidson recently debuted new ink at CinemaCon, where he was in attendance to promote his new film, How to Rob a Bank.
The tiny tat is a tribute to his daughter, Scottie Rose Hewitt Davidson, whom he shares with girlfriend Elsie Hewitt.
It features on the side of his face, next to his ear, and reads ‘Scottie’.
The vertical honour comes after Davidson gushed about becoming a dad for the first time, hailing it as ‘f***ing awesome, exhausting, and rewarding’.
“I'm very lucky because Elsie is a fantastic mom, and I can't stress enough how lucky I am,” he told People Magazine.
"And what's also cool is you get to watch someone come into this other role, and it's so nice to see.

“It's very rewarding to see the person you chose to have a baby with actually crush it so naturally," he continued.
"And so Scottie's very lucky in that way. So we're having a blast. It's really cute, and it's fun to dress up a little baby.”
Davdison and Hewitt, 30, were first linked in March 2025 when they were spotted smooching on a beach in Florida.
The pair later confirmed their relationship and made their red carpet debut in May.
After welcoming Scottie, the comedian revealed that, alongside being named after his father, who was a firefighter who died in the 9/11 attacks, the child’s moniker was a tribute to where she was conceived.
“The second she came out, we were like, ‘That’s Scottie’’,” he told Elite Daily.
"We always knew that was the one we were going to come back to, because it was the most meaningful. It's also so cute. She was conceived in Scotland.”
