It's super important to love the skin you're in whilst being sure to protect it and look after it properly.

However, as I'm sure many would agree, it's always a bit of a pain - and downright expensive - sorting out a 12-step skincare regimen.

From confusing facial acids and gravelly exfoliators to dodgy fake tan and never knowing which eye cream to choose - figuring out a tried-and-tested way to best look after your skin can be quite the exhausting feat.

So, to help us all save some money and time, Nigella Lawson, has shared the three things she absolutely swears by after revealing her 'immutable' skincare routine.

The beloved 64-year-old chef and food writer is not only known for her incredible recipes, brilliant writing and razor-sharp wit but for her absolutely glowing complexion.

So, it's no surprise that her fans are always keen to hear what she gets up to in her bathroom to keep her skin looking so good.

One asked the chef on X over the weekend (6 July): "Please tell me about the skincare products you love, whatever the budget.

"I’m 44 and feel I need to get a bit more serious about my skin. Thanks!"

Coming in clutch, Nigella didn't hesitate to reveal her 'immutable' night-time regime which consists of using a facial oil massaged in after cleansing and making sure to switch off central heating while she sleeps.

She tweeted: "My immutable night time regime: @VH_Beauty Prickly Pear Seed Oil, massaged in after washing my face with a muslin and TempleSpa’s In the Beginning cleanser.

"And no central heating in the bedroom!"

The Victoria Healthy oil retails at £22 for the 30ml size and is dubbed a 'superb multi-purpose face oil', which is rich in essential fatty acids to help restore skin elasticity, calm inflammatory skin, brighten dark spots, improve an uneven skin tone, and may help prevent blemishes.

Temple Spa’s In the Beginning Deep Pore & Exfoliating Cleanser retails at £35 for 75g and is hailed as 'one of those desert island products you can’t live without' leaving you with that 'just had a facial' feeling every time.

A muslin cost will set you back just a couple quid, plus you'll be saving money on your energy bills by switching your heating off while you snooze.

So, all in all, Nigella's three-tiered skincare routine will cost you under £60!

Not too shabby at all.
