Almost a whole year after the shock news of their divorce broke, it looks like Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are on good terms, as the actress has publicly wished her ex a happy Father’s Day.
The Australian actress, 59, and Grammy-winning country singer, 58, sent shockwaves through Hollywood when they announced their separation in September 2025, before finalising their divorce in January 2026.
The split came after 19 years of marriage, with court documents revealing that the celebrity pair cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as their reason.
During their time together, the A-list duo, who married in 2006, welcomed two daughters - Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15.

To celebrate Father’s Day on Sunday (21 June), Kidman took to Instagram to post a tribute to her ex-husband.
She posted two black and white photos, one of which was a throwback picture of herself as a child with her own father Anthony, who died in 2014 at age 75, and a second of Urban carrying their daughters on his back when they were little.

The ‘Big Little Lies’ actress wrote: “Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers.”
It’s the first time she has publicly acknowledged her ex-husband since the news of their divorce broke.
It also comes as Urban also opted for a similar social media tribute just one day before, publicly wishing Kidman a happy birthday.
Taking to his Instagram Story on Saturday (20 June), he wrote, “happy birthday, Nicole Mary!!!!!!!!!!!!,” alongside a blue and purple background.
Court documents obtained by Page Six claim that Kidman and Urban have agreed to waive all right to child and spousal support.

The plan is reportedly for their daughters to stay with the actress for 306 days of the year, and spend ‘every other weekend’ with their father.
Kidman hinted at the high-profile breakup for the first time in an interview with Variety back in March.
The star was asked if she’s been ‘doing all right since her separation’ after previously saying that last year was a ‘rough one’.
Kidman responded: “I am, because I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good. What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that.”
Shed added: “Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect. I’m staying in a place of, ‘We are a family,’ and that’s what we’ll continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women.”
