Nick Cannon has spoken out after one of his 12 children last year claimed she only has 'one sibling'.
The TV presenter's 15-year-old daughter Monroe took to Instagram in November 2025, when she wrote a cryptic comment about her brothers and sisters.
Cannon, 45, shares the teen and her twin brother, Moroccan, with ex-wife Mariah Carey.
He also has sons Golden Sagon and Rise Messiah, and daughter Powerful Queen, with former flame Brittany Bell, as well as twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir, and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin, with ex-lover Abby De La Rosa.

With former love interest Bre Tiesi, Cannon also shares a son, Legendary Love, and with ex-beau LaNisha Cole, he has a daughter, Onyx Ice.
The comedian also fathered two children with Alyssa Scott, including a daughter, Halo Marie. The pair's son, Zen, died at five months old in 2021 following a brain cancer diagnosis.

Referencing her complicated family life, one of his two eldest, Monroe, took to social media last year where she wrote: "Clearing something up, guys, I only have ONE brother who is @moroccan.cannon."
The youngster added: "I do have other half-siblings from my dad, but they are all many, many years younger than me!"
Confusion was sparked at the time, with Cannon's many children with various women being a major factor in his international fame.
It took until this week, however, for the San Diego local to address his daughter's comments.
Appearing on the Club Shay Shay podcast this week, Cannon was asked about Monroe's intentions.
"It’s so funny because the world thought that it was about a conversation that was something that it wasn’t," he told host Shannon Sharpe. "It was really about 14-year-olds talking."

Cannon went on to explain that Monroe had been responding to a series of claims from teenagers online that they're also her and Moroccan's siblings.
"So my daughter wanted to clear it up, and be like, 'I only have one brother'," he continued. "Like, literally, in her age group."
The Wild 'N Out presenter added that his daughter had been saddened by the misunderstanding surrounding her online comments, explaining that she and Moroccan are close with his younger children.
"The world jumped in on some teenage gossip conversation and tried to turn it into something else," Cannon explained. "And then that upset my daughter. So she was like, 'I didn't mean that. I said my dad has other kids'.
"I was like, 'Monroe, you don't have to explain yourself to anybody, but let this be a lesson that you got to be very careful what you say on social media. People will take something very small and blow it up into something that you don't have control over anymore'."
