Ne-Yo has revealed another detail about his five-person polyamorous relationship - this time delving into the group's unique sleeping arrangements.

The American singer, 45, has previously revealed that he's in a committed relationship with four women, who each have their own nickname.

For those not familiar with polyamory, it simply means that someone is open to having romantic and/or sexual relationships with more than one person at a time.

In Ne-Yo's case, the 'Miss Independent' hitmaker has been open about his polyamorous lifestyle and earlier this year introduced all of his partners to his huge social media following.

Back in March, he posted a snap of the group together to Instagram, alongside the caption: "Since the world is so intrigued, I guess I should introduce my loves properly. LADIES AND GENTS I PRESENT MY PYRAMID."

Ne-Yo then tagged each of the four women along with their nicknames which included Cristina (Pretty Baby), Arielle (Twin Flame), Moneii (Phoenix Feather) and Bri (Sexy Lil’ Somethin’).

People understandably have a lot of questions - one of which being how the group sleep.

And Ne-Yo provided the answer during YouTuber Kai Cenat's livestream last week on September 10.

He explained that the group of five all sleep together in an Alaskan King-sized bed at his home.

The musician confirmed: "'That's like two California Kings next to each other. You gotta get that mattress made."

An Alaskan king bed typically measures 108-by-108 inches or 9-by-9 feet, making it the biggest king size bed you can get your hands on.

During the same appearance, Ne-Yo, real name Shaffer Chimere Smith, revealed that he sees his four girlfriends as wives, despite not actually being married to any of them.

He gushed: "'My love life is phenomenal. I'm in a great space. I have four beautiful ladies who move with me on a regular."

Ne-Yo has previously lifted the lid on how he told his seven children about his polyamorous relationships - he shares two, Madilyn, and Mason, with his ex-fiancé, Monyetta Shaw-Carter.

He also shares three children named Shaffer, Roman, and Isabella, with his ex-wife, Crystal Renay.

And he shares his youngest two children, Braiden, and Brixton, with influencer Sade Jenea Bagnerise.

During an appearance on the Rickey Smiley Morning Show back in February, he was asked during a Q&A session with fans if his kids have questions about his romantic life.

He responded: "Of course they do. And I answer them. Honesty. I’m not lying to anybody, not even my children. Like, 'Hey this is daddy’s girlfriend, and so is that, and so is that, and so is that'."

Ne-Yo also lifted the lid on how his partners have sometimes looked after his kids, continuing: "She’s going to make you some cereal, and she’s going to cook lunch, and she’s going wash clothes, and it’s all good.

"It’s family. It’s community."

Talking more generally about his controversial relationship, he continued: "The key ingredient to making it work is honesty. Everyone’s got to be telling the truth

"It works. Everybody’s honest, everybody’s telling the truth. Everybody’s consenting.

"I feel like I wasted a lot of time just being dishonest about things to the point where had I taken this approach initially, I could’ve saved myself a lot of headache and heartache."
