Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury’s baby's name appeared to have been leaked days before the big announcement over the weekend.

Any fans of the Love Island veterans will no doubt know all about the weeks of speculation and hints over what the couple would choose as the name for their second child, after already opting for a pretty unique moniker of 'Bambi' for their firstborn.

Molly-Mae and Tommy announced the newborn's arrival earlier this month (3 June), later confirming they'd welcomed a baby boy, with the influencer saying she's now entered her 'boy mum' era.

Teasing the tot's name, Molly-Mae previously admitted in one of her YouTube vlogs that she already knew fans would 'hate' it.

In a vlog, she cryptically described their baby's name as 'very original' and emphasised that they were 'never gonna call our baby just an ordinary name'.

"Can’t wait for everyone to literally probably dislike it and be like ‘da f***?’, but yeah, it was never gonna be an ordinary name, guys; let’s be honest," she said.

Well, after weeks of fans guessing as to what the name would be, Tommy confirmed that the newest addition to his family is called Midas Fury, as he proudly displayed the name in gold letters on his boxing shorts when he stepped into the ring for his match against Eddie Hall in Manchester over the weekend (13 June).

However, some hawk-eyed fans were quick to point out one TikToker's correct predictions that the baby would be named Midas long before the couple made the announcement (5 June).

The TikToker, who goes by 'Harrie GD' online and whose handle is @harrietgilldaintith, recounted an exchange with another group of girls she met on a night out.

Harrie recalled asking them out of curiosity: "Do you know what Molly-Mae is calling her baby?"

The girls' friends then started laughing before telling Harrie that she was 'related' to John Fury, Tommy's dad, prompting Harrie to ask again what the baby's name was.

"The baby's name is Midas," the girl told Harrie, who added: "Which makes sense, because she [Molly-Mae] said no one in the family can pronounce the name. So it's definitely called Midas.

"But if we're wrong, we're wrong. But we needed to tell the world."

Responding to the TikTok confession after the baby name announcement, one fan praised: "Girl this it’s boots on the ground journalism!!!"

"So you was spitting facts," declared another.

And a final fan beamed: "I CANNOT believe this was right."

Tyla has reached out to Molly-Mae's representatives for comment.
