Machine Gun Kelly revealed Megan Fox was ‘furious’ that he was being branded a ‘good dad’ by fans, sparking major debate regarding male and female parenting comparisons.
MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, announced that his ex-fianceé Megan had welcomed their daughter on March 27, 2025.
The pair later revealed that the child’s name was Saga Blade Fox-Baker, with the 35-year-old rapper thanking the Transformers actor for bestowing on him ‘the ultimate gift’ in a sweet social media post.
Saga is MGK’s second daughter and Megan’s fourth. The former shares 16-year-old Casie Colson Baker with his ex-girlfriend Emma Cannon, while actor Brian Austin Green is the father of Megan’s three sons, Noah Shannon, 12, Bodhi Ransom, 11, and Journey River, eight.

In a recent interview, the ‘Emo Girl’ singer has revealed that Megan’s true feelings about him being praised for raising their newborn child.
“Someone the other day was like, ‘You’re such a good dad,’ because I was just holding the baby,” he joked on the Today With Jenna and Friends chat show.
“And so she [Megan] was fuming. I just play the guitar and hope and pray that the baby is happy.”

He continued: “I want to detract any congrats to me, and just move it to Megan because she really does all the work.”
MGK’s comments have sparked debate on Reddit, with many discussing the ‘sad truth’ that men are sometimes praised much more than women when to parenting.
“It really is a low bar for men. Just existing in a child's life is all it takes to get praise while moms can't do a god damn thing right,” remarked on social media user.
A second typed: “He is trying to lift her up with some self deprecating humour. I think people are reading into this way too much. He is obviously a good father, you can see that with the way he raised Cassie (?). The baby is still at an age where mum rules.”

Someone else said that they were happy he was ‘being honest about his role in raising the child’, while another wrote: “Glad he’s acknowledging that men (can) do the bare minimum and get praised for being amazing dads.
“Gross that he acknowledges he does bare minimum (if we can even call it that) and could give an eff about it.”
Megan and MGK reportedly split around Thanksgiving, with a source telling People: "They tried to make things work for many years. It was exhausting for Megan.

"She's done with him now. She just wants to focus on the baby and her boys now. She lives alone and doesn't have much contact with MGK," they continued. "She's doing okay. She's very excited about the baby."
The pair now co-parent Saga, with the 'Bad Things' hitmaker telling Fox News: “Megan is a great mom. She's killing it. I'm so excited.”
