After being branded 'unrecognisable' by an online critic this week, Meghan Trainor went on to issue a fiery response.
The controversy comes after the 'All About That Bass' hitmaker opened up on her decision to use the weight loss drug Mounjaro in a bid to live a healthier life.
Taking to Instagram back in April, Trainor admitted to have implemented the Type 2 diabetes injectable into her lifestyle, having been inspired by her two children.
Sharing a snap of her physique at the time, the 31-year-old gave the medication a special 'shout-out', writing: "No, I don’t look like I did 10 years ago. I’ve been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me.

"I’ve worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy."
The star continued: "And I’m so glad I did because I feel great. Here’s to celebrating talent, growth, and the power of putting yourself first. Let’s keep shifting the convo to what REALLY matters. With love."
Despite owning her decision, the mother-of-two has since come under criticism from a batch of online followers, who've accused her of adjusting her appearance to an unrecognisable degree.

After she shared a TikTok video of herself taking part in the 'stiletto challenge' - where stars balance on one leg upon an abstract object while Nicki Minaj's 'High School' plays in the background - one user hit out in the comments: "I did not recognize her at first. What happened?"
Thankfully, however, it didn't take long for the Grammy-winner to seemingly react to critics, later sharing a clip of herself lip-syncing to Megan Thee Stallion's 'Her', mouthing the lyrics: "I don’t care if these b*****s don’t like me. Cause, like, I’m pretty as f**k.

"Just the other day, I heard a hoe say. Matter of fact, what could h*e say with a face like this and a b***h bad? S**t."

Trainor went on to add in the caption: "Glam team really did that."
For those unfamiliar with the medication, Mounjaro contains tirzepatide - an ingredient that lowers blood sugar levels and targets both the GLP-1 and GIP receptors, which serve as the body's appetite-regulating hormones.
In recent years, the drug has sky-rocketed in popularity, especially within the celebrity realm, with a horde of stars now having admitted to dabbled in weight loss medication use.
