Meghan Markle has been accused of Photoshopping an image of her and Prince Harry in one of her recent Instagram posts.

On Monday (19 May), the Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary, having tied the knot back in 2018 at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.

Seven years on from the special day and the couple are now living in Montecito, California, having stepped away as working members of the royal family back in 2020.

To mark their wedding anniversary, Meghan took to her Instagram account on Monday where she shared a mood board featuring photographs and hand-written notes of her and Harry's 'love story'.

She captioned the collage post filled with a whole bunch of family photos: "Seven years of marriage. A lifetime of stories."

Meghan rounded off the message with a thank you to her fans, adding: "Thanks to all of you (whether by our side, or from afar) who have loved and supported us throughout our love story - we appreciate you.

"Happy anniversary!"

The handwritten note seen pinned to the top right-hand side of the board appears to read: "... take this longing I have carried, and this thirst as death, and take me into the only, light you are.

"But I want the fire, just as long as you stand by me.

"And when dark, finds me in the.. I will find you, I will find you..."

Other details in the collage include a middle centre card which reads: "Our love story."

While looking at the selection of photos Meghan had included, some fans honed in on one in particular, claiming it had been Photoshopped.

In one photo, Meghan and Harry can be seen facing each other with their noses touching. But one fan has suggested that this is not a real image, but has actually been created using two images taken during their tour of New Zealand.

The couple visited New Zealand back in 2018, and received a traditional welcome on the lawns of Government House.

During their welcome, they performed the hongi, which is a Māori greeting in which two people press their noses and foreheads together.

"She is wearing the same earrings as during the royal tour!" the Twitter user said.

"I recreated the same pic, and I am not even good at Photoshop!"

Ultimately, people think Meghan had took both her and Harry's faces from the images, and stitched them together.

One person wrote: "This one I think is fake. Isn't it when she met the Maori's and greeted them in their traditional way?"

While another said: "If you are going to photoshop fake images... do a better job."

Tyla has reached out to Meghan for comment.
