Megan Fox confirms engagement to Machine Gun Kelly has been called off

She opened up about the status of her relationship.

Megan Fox has confirmed that her engagement to Machine Gun Kelly has been called off.

The 37-year-old Transformers star first announced she was set to tie the knot with MGK, 33, back in 2022.

However, fans were thrown into a total tizzy when Megan deleted all the photos and videos on her Instagram that featured the 'Emo Girl' rapper.

However, Megan has since put all the speculation to rest about the frenzy surrounding her reported 2023 breakup with MGK, real name Colson Baker.

Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Megan confirmed to host Alex Cooper that her engagement had indeed been called off as people suspected.

Cooper noted that the pair 'got engaged, then I think it was called off, then we don’t know what’s going on with you', to which the Jennifer's Body actor responded: "All those things you said were accurate things that have occurred."

She continued: "I could see them being confusing, or interesting to people, and them being like, 'What’s up?'

"I think that what I’ve learned from being in this relationship is that it’s not for public consumption.

“I think, as of now, I don’t have a comment on the status of the relationship, per se. What I can say is [he] is what I refer to as being my 'twin soul' and there will always be a tether to him, no matter what."

Megan added: "I can’t say for sure what the capacity will be, but I will always be connected to him somehow.

"Beyond that, I’m not willing to explain."

Megan and MGK first started dating back in 2020 before announcing their engagement just two years later in January 2022.

Captioning a post that featured footage showing MGK getting down on one knee, Megan shared with fans at the time: "In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree.

"We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time.

"Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma."

During the same podcast, Megan also addressed plastic surgery claims, revealing: "I had my boobs done when I was 21 or 22. I had them re-done after I was done breastfeeding my kids because I don't know where they went but they went.

She also opened up about the work she'd had done.

She carried on: "Then I had to have them redone very recently because the first set, I didn't have enough body fat to disguise - you could see the rippling of the implant so I had to switch them out to this set."

"I don't like surgery," Megan admitted. "My body does not react well to general anaesthesia, so when I go to have surgery, it's a very big deal."

She continued: "I'm very afraid of dying under general anaesthesia so I don't take surgery lightly and therefore I have not had many of them because of that."

Megan also said she's had filler and botox as well as getting her 'nose done' in her early 20s, adding: "I haven't had a rhinoplasty since I was, I'm going to say, 23.

"It's been well over a decade. I've not touched my nose since then."

She then joked: "I like to contour it down until it's just nostrils - like Voldemort."

The segment ended with Megan saying: "Oh, there's one thing I had done that I'm gatekeeping."
