The 54-year-old actor, best-known for playing Chandler Bing, was reportedly found dead in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home, and his five fellow Friends co-stars have since gathered to say their final goodbyes to him at his funeral yesterday (3 November).

According to TMZ, the five grieving actors were among about 20 mourners.

An onlooker told DailyMail.com that Aniston was 'one of the first to arrive'.

"She kept herself to herself. This is a high profile gathering." they added.

Perry's mother, Suzanne Perry, and his stepfather, Keith Morrison, as well as his father John Bennett Perry were also reportedly spotted at the funeral.

Another onlooker told DailyMail.com: "There was not a dry eye in there. There were a lot of tears and laughter.

"Only close friends and family spoke."

The news of his death was first confirmed by a statement from NBC - the network which aired Friends.

"He brought so much joy to hundreds of millions of people around the world with his pitch-perfect comedic timing and wry wit.

"His legacy will live on through countless generations."

Perry starred in the 10 season-long series alongside his five co-stars, and went on to become close friends with them both on and off camera.

Perry's costars shared a heartbreaking tribute to him, writing: "We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew.

"We were more than just cast mates.

"There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.

"In time we will say more, as and when we are able.

"For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world."

An investigation into Perry's death is ongoing and there is currently no cause of death.

There was no apparent foul play.
