Macaulay Culkin legally changed his name and it's now absolutely baffling
The Home Alone star followed the rather interesting advice of his followers
Macaulay Culkin, star of the beloved Christmas film Home Alone, legally changed his name as a result of his followers and it's certainly an interesting choice.
We all have our own favourites when it comes to festive flicks - Love Actually and Elf are just two that spring to mind - but if we're all being honest with ourselves, Home Alone reigns supreme.
In the first film, Culkin starred as Kevin Macallister at just 8-years-old, so many of us feel like we've grown up with the now 44-year-old actor.
Though he's now largely absent from the world of Hollywood, every so often he pops back up in the spotlight.

Last year, the star, who is married to Suite Life of Zack and Cody actress Brenda Song, wrote on his own website, Bunny Ears, that he 'can't even remember' his own middle name, but is aware it's 'something dumb.'
In a post titled, 'Macaulay Culkin Needs A New Middle Name,' Culkin pleaded with his fans to 'send in some better options' to take to the court house so he could 'change [his] middle name to something cool'.
Making a vow to go ahead with the majority vote, Culkin went on to reveal his personal 'favourite five' from the 'hundreds of suggestions' that had been sent in.
The favourites were as follow: Publicity Stunt, TheMcRibIsBack, Kieran, Shark Week and Macaulay Culkin.
Taking them all to a poll on his website, he let his loyal fans vote for the one he should use.
He proposed: "Sure, I might have gold plated watercraft, and chrome plated invisibility cloaks, but all I want for Christmas is a new middle name. And then you can be all 'Oh, you got your wife a beautiful portrait of your family? Well, I chose Macaulay Culkin’s Middle Name.' And they will cry and cry.
"Don’t be the kind of person who cries on Christmas. Be the kind of person that chooses my new middle name."
Drum roll please...
The result was Macaulay Culkin - with 60,990 votes.
Yep, that's right - the actor's name is now Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin.
On Christmas Day, the actor then took to X to share: "Merry Christmas to me, from all of you!
"My new middle name has been chosen. You voted and the winner is clear.
"In 2019 my new legal name will be: Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin.
"It has a nice ring to it (if you like my name)."
It's certainly a mouthful - but undoubtedly iconic.
