Kim Kardashian defended after admission about having five nannies leads to mum-shaming
Kim Kardashian has been inundated with brutal mum-shaming comments after she revealed that she uses five nannies on rotation to look after her children.
The 45-year-old Skims founder shares four children with her ex-husband Kanye West - North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, eight, and Psalm, seven.
In a new interview with The Sunday Times Style Magazine, Kim outlined that one nanny is on duty at a time, with four others being part of a rotation.
The reality TV star added that she still takes her kids to school every day and collects them, as well as having dinner with them every evening.

She told the publication: “I think I am an intermediate-strict parent. I’m extremely patient and loving. I still have a kid sleep in my bed when they want. I read books with the kids every night.”
However, Kim’s nanny admission unfortunately led to some cruel mum-shaming from the internet, with people taking to social media to slam her for the parenting decision.
One X user joked: “Five nannies on rotation. Her kids have a better staffing plan than my job.”
While a second brutally wrote: “So basically her kids are in foster care, and she has visitation.”
And a third chimed in with: “Soo basically she doesn’t parent her own kids.”
The mum-shaming continued, as a fourth penned: “Your job as a mom is to take care of your own kids. Rich people are so lazy.”
A fifth wrote: “I have 4 kids. Should I get a nanny too so I don’t have to parent?”
But others came forward to defend the star, pointing out that there’s nothing wrong with utilising nannies, and the children do have a father too, of course.
One fan questioned: “Umm, no one has mentioned the children’s father. Where’s Kanye? What parental duties is he doing???”
While a second wrote: “Crazy how everyone is so quick to judge. Sometimes not all kids can be at the same place at once with Kim. Ever thought about each kid having their own agenda for the day sometimes? Lmk if you can be everywhere at once or not; who wouldn’t want that help??”
A third added: “Everybody dragging her, but at the end of the day a BILLIONAIRE most likely doesn’t have the time to just tend to them 24/7. I’m sure her kids don’t lack anything/want or need for anything, and they also have a Dad!”
While a fourth agreed: “She's one of the most famous celebrities in the world, she runs multi-million dollar companies... do you really think she has time to be taking care of her children? It's normal for rich people to have nannies.”
It comes after both Kim and Kanye attended their eldest daughter North’s concert earlier this month.
She took to the stage at Chicago's The Vic Theatre on 5 September for her first ever headlining concert, performing for a sold-out crowd.
The teen clearly wants to follow in her father’s footsteps, as she’s already released a debut six-track, called N0rth4evr, and performed her first-ever solo festival set at Lyrical Lemonade's Summer Smash in Bridgeview, Illinois, in June.
