Khloé Kardashian’s prenup clause has been explained years after her divorce to ex-hubby Lamar Odom.
Khloé and Lamar were a permanent fixture on Keeping Up with The Kardashians for years, and when they split, it was a very big deal for everyone who watched the show. The former couple married back in 2009, but Khloé called it quits after finding out Lamar had cheated on her more than a couple of times.
Khloé moved on and had two children, a daughter named True and a son named Tatum, with her ex and NBA player, Tristan Thompson. However, the pair keep it civil.
Previously, she opened up about why her divorce was harder than finding out that Thompson had been cheating on her.

Speaking to Jay Shetty, the mum-of-two said: "With my first husband, I was younger and I think that was a lot harder for me.

"But what’s interesting was with each relationship where something bad has happened, I didn’t take it and was like, ‘Woe is me. I’m this victim.'
"I took it more like, ‘Okay, that’s another layer of armor that I’m putting on myself that I can get through anything else that happens in my life, but it’s also not going to harden me for my next relationship.'"

One thing about their marriage that you might find strange, is that there was a very specific prenup clause added prior to the wedding.
While it’s not unusual for couples to add in something tailored to their relationship, like the ‘cocaine clause’ Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban had added, or the one Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel created, the contents are certainly eyebrow-raising.
According to the Nicki Swift publication, in the event that the pair split, the Kardashian would be awarded $500,000 a year including $25,000 per month for ‘general support’, as well as a ‘new luxury vehicle at the end of every lease cycle’.
She also supposedly got $5,000 a month for shopping, $1,000 a month for beauty care, and then the odd thing. Namely, courtside Lakers tickets for her, and for her sisters too.

The Kardashian clan have frequently attended the Los Angeles Lakers games, and when Lamar was a top player for the team before being traded in 2011, they were permanent fixtures in the seats.
Lamar and the Kardashian star were married from 2009 to 2016, until he was found unconscious at the Love Ranch’s legal brothel in Nevada, US in October, in 2015.

The sportsman had reportedly used cocaine and other substances in the days leading up to it and suffered from kidney failure, several heart attacks, and also 12 strokes. He was subsequently placed on life support in a hospital in Las Vegas, and Khloé withdrew her request for a divorce until the next year after he made a full recovery.

In an interview with CBS, Lamar had called himself a ‘walking miracle’ who had ‘cheated death’ before sharing that his drug use had brought about ‘the end of [his basketball] career’ faster than it would have otherwise gone.
