Khloé Kardashian's new reality show has mysteriously disappeared off streamers - here's why

Producers have been forced to address the removal of Khloé Kardahian's new reality TV series, following a whirlwind of online speculation.

The Girls, announced earlier this year, hones in on several of the star's longtime gal pals, including Natalie Halcro, Khadijah Haqq, Malika Haqq, Yris Palmer, Olivia Pierson and Nicole Williams English.

It sheds light on their career paths, their personal highs and lows, and their often chaotic love lives.

"Step inside Khloé Kardashian's inner circle as her closest friends navigate the highs and lows of motherhood, marriage, dating, business, and life in the spotlight," the show's official synopsis reads.

"From career milestones and family challenges to girls' trips, launch parties, and life-changing decisions, these ambitious women come together through their shared connection to Khloé.

"But as they spend more time together and get to know one another on a deeper level, unexpected tensions, old wounds, and clashing perspectives begin to surface - testing whether these friendships can grow as their lives continue to evolve."

Unfortunately for fans, however, just days after the series landed on Disney+ on 21 August, it was taken down, leaving many wondering whether the whole thing needed re-editing.

One TikTok user admitted in a viral video: "To everyone wondering where The Girls has gone, I'm wondering, too. I have some speculation that it may have been taken off for them to make some adjustments.

"There were many people, including me, complaining about the lack of confessionals, because without the confessionals, it didn't feel a little bit disjointed at times to watch."

She added: "I'm speculating and hoping that this could be producers making changes."

It didn't take long, though, for the production firm behind the series, Bunim/Murray, to set the record straight.

Representatives of the company - which previously produced the original instalment of Keeping Up With The Kardashians - insisted the show's removal had been down to a technical error.

"Hiiii producers here!" Bunim/Murray commented on the clip. "That was a glitch with the app…. Not adjustments."

They added: "It has been fixed."

Still, fans don't seem convinced - especially after several cast members came forward claiming they'd filmed several 1-1 camera interviews that never saw the light of day.

Yris, for example, told Page Six: "They took our confessionals out."

"There are plenty of times, I'm sure, the things that I've said are going to be taken out of context. I would love to explain myself, especially as someone who's never been on reality TV before."

Malika agreed that several of her and twin Khadijah's scenes had been axed, telling the publication: "I wanted to speak from my side. If you say something behind your friend's back 'cause she's not in the scene, you kind of want the opportunity."

She suggested that Khloé had been selected as the group spokesperson, given that she also narrates the show and has experience hosting her own podcast series.

"Khloe is your full-on confessionals for one through six," Malika said. "You will get it from her perspective, and her visuals, and maybe that is her way of saving us and keeping us clean, I don't know."
