Khloé Kardashian has responded to 'gross commentary' about ex Tristan Thompson's disabled brother, Amari, in an emotional statement.
19-year-old Amari was diagnosed with a condition called Lennox-Gastaut syndrome - a form of epilepsy - weeks after his birth.
Basketball star Tristan - who split from Khloé in 2021 - had previously been his little brother's primary caretaker, following the death of their mother Andrea, who suffered a heart attack in January 2023.
After moving Amari from Canada to the States, however, Khloé stepped into the role when Tristan's sporting schedule began impacting their time together.

Speaking on her Khloé in Wonder Land podcast in August, the 41-year-old star explained: "Tristan is in the NBA and he is in a different state, literally, every other day or every few days, and it’s just not conducive for Amari to be on that many planes.

"Amari has a handful of seizures a day with the type of epilepsy that he has."
He now lives with the star and her two children, daughter True, seven, and son Tatum, three, both of whom she shared with Tristan.
"I have chosen to take care of him and be there for him because it’s not good that he travels," Khloé revealed. "California weather is so good for Amari, and I just love having Amari be a part of my family."
Khloé is once again using her position to raise awareness of comments about the teen after she shared footage of Amari enjoying a local dance class.
For those who missed it, the clip shows the teen spinning around while smiling in his specialised power wheelchair. An accompanying photo also showed Khloé herself posing alongside Amari for a photo.

She wrote in the caption at the time: "I’m so thankful for places like this and for human beings like this!"
Taking to Instagram in the days that followed, however, the mother-of-two explained: "Last time I posted Amari in his dance class, I heard some ridiculous commentary about how, 'How is this dance? Does he even know what’s going on?'.
“All of this gross commentary that I don’t need [and] no one needs."
The reality TV favourite went on to hit out: "So, if you don’t know or if you have never had someone with special needs in your life and you don’t know what their interests are or what makes them happy, don’t comment.
"And if you don’t like this type of content, you don’t have to watch it."

She went on to tell her followers: "We’re all good over here."
In a further clip, Khloe went on to insist she'd be posting a 'few videos' more from Amari's recent class, having been 'given permission' by his family.
"I want to highlight such an amazing dance academy that does so much for special children," she claimed. "And it’s so beautiful and it’s so special, and these kids are so happy."
