Lee Andrews has broken his silence on his month-long disappearance, detailing how he was ‘slapped around’ and ‘held at gunpoint’.
The Dubai-based businessman, 43, tied the knot with Katie Price, 38, in January of this year after a whirlwind romance.
However, their relationship caught national attention last month when the former glamour model raised alarm bells that he was a ‘missing person,’ after he failed to turn up to a Good Morning Britain interview on 15 May.
For a month, no one knew Lee’s whereabouts, and reports began circulating that he had been arrested, with Katie claiming she spoke to him on the phone while he was in Dubai’s Al Awir prison.

Lee's family also filed a missing persons report at the British Embassy in Dubai, prompting widespread media attention into what happened.
Now, he’s finally confirmed that he’s safe and back with his wife, as he lifted the lid on where exactly he’s been.

In a video posted online, he said: “Hi everyone, this is Lee. I’ve been missing now for several weeks. I can tell you I’m now safe and healthy and with my wife.”
Lee explained: “I was taken close to the Hatta-Oman border by men at gunpoint, and then I was captured by men with assault rifles.
“They did slap me around a little bit, little s***s, and I was hand-tied, shackled, and also had a hood over my head.
“From there, I was taken to a black site, and I had no use of my phone, and from what I know, it was an extended arm of the National Guard, and that’s all I can reveal at the moment.”
The businessman claimed he has now ‘signed disclaimers with state security’ and from there he was ‘put into the system’.
Lee confirmed: “At no point have I faced anything to do with fraud allegations or any criminal activities such as that.”

Then, in a second video posted on Wednesday morning (17 June), he added: "I am sending these messages out to my loved-ones and my beautiful wife who without her help involving all the UK authorities, I don't think I would have got out of that situation.
"Because of the tensions and things happening in the region and me being so close to the border, this is why I was suspected of espionage and held in a state security building without the use of a telephone and any rights, such as a shower, contact or speak to anybody, including the embassy or my wife.
"So thank you to Katie for making such a noise that the UAE actually listened and let me go. From there, I did have a civil case in Dubai, which led to me going into the mainstream prison during the Arabic holiday Eid and I was able to secure my release."
It comes after Katie confirmed her husband had been found, telling The Sun on 27 May: "I have found him - he is alive, and he is OK. I told him how worried I had been and told him I loved him. It was very rushed, but he said the authorities out there thought he was a spy. I don’t know much more than that right now."
