Despite gasps from the podcast host and audience alike - Barry questioning, 'How can you say that?' - Price persists.

In a clip from the podcast episode, she turns to address Princess sat in the audience off-camera, telling her daughter: "No, you was ugly weren't you?"

Price then tells Barry to 'Google it,' noting while she '[couldn't] believe how ugly Princess was as a kid' her daughter is 'gorgeous now'.

Price resolves: "I don't care what anyone says, it's not being cruel. I know if my babies are ugly or not."

However, the internet is having none of it and people have rushed to social media to rain down on Price for her negative comments about her daughter's appearance.

One Twitter user said: "I got told I was ugly as a kid. Stuck with me. Poor Princess has this digital footprint forever."

"Thing is I can remember princess when she was a baby/toddler and she was cute as a button - she looked exactly like Katie’s mum. I’m not sure what she’s talking about?" Another added.

Price has been slammed online for the comment.

A third commented: "Katie Price telling her daughter she was an ugly child like what the f**k. Why pass your own body image issues onto your child?! So sick."

"And she got a Mother of the Year award! Her kids must have pretty thick skin. I don't like how they are used for publicity," a fourth said.

And a final simply resolved: "Katie Price is vile."
