It's a new day, which means a fresh twist in the tale of Katie Price's 'missing' husband.
Lee Andrews vanished earlier this month after failing to attend a scheduled Good Morning Britain interview with Price.
In a YouTube vlog shared several days after Lee's disappearance, the reality TV star claimed: "I don’t really know where to begin, but I know there’s all this speculation about Lee from when I met him. Something really, really serious has happened. Lee has been missing for three days."
"The last time I heard from Lee was Wednesday night at 10 o’clock. He was trying to go through the border in Dubai to get on a flight to me."
Price also shared a series of text messages between her and Andrews with The Sun, in which the Dubai businessman claimed he was being 'detained' at a 'black site' in the UAE after being 'arrested'.
The couple tied the knot in January (Instagram/@wesleeeandrews) This claim was backed by Andrews' father Peter, who told the Daily Mail yesterday: "Lee is OK. He has not been kidnapped, but he is under arrest. I don't know on what charge. I'm not sure where he is being held. But he will call me later today."
Responding to the claims, Price rebuked Peter's comments, slamming his claims as 'fake news'.
"Lee is still missing," she wrote on her Instagram Story. "Me and his family know what’s going on and working with the authorities involved."
In a new vlog, she also claimed that her other-half actually shares three mobile phones, but that his 'abductors' have seized two of them.
She shared footage recorded days after Andrews disappeared, in which she alleges her husband told her: "Because last night, they said, 'They've taken two of my phones. They don't know I'm on this phone'. And so he said, 'I'll just let you know I've been arrested. If they ring you'."
Andrews' father claimed his son 'has not been kidnapped' (Instagram/@wesleeandrews) Price continued: "He wrote a text quick. I mean, I'm hope he's all right, but I don't know."
The I'm A Celeb alum then showed herself sending father-in-law Peter a voicenote after Andrews gave her his number.
In the caption of the post shared yesterday, she wrote: "My head felt like it was about to explode with all the noise and the chaos so it was nice to be about to chill and zen out if only for a moment. It was only the day after he went missing and I was still trying to process it all while trying to keep myself busy."
It comes after the Dubai businessman was reportedly 'active' on a mobile device on Sunday (24 May), despite claiming he'd been 'detained' at a 'black site' in the UAE, and wouldn't be able to contact Price.
He was also seen to have followed a mystery woman on Instagram on Friday, despite failing to contact his wife on her 48th birthday. Previously, he'd only followed the mother-of-five.
Price claimed Andrews has 'three phones' (Instagram/@wesleeeandrews) A source later told The Sun: "Lee has multiple phones but this is the one that is being used now."
Price previously claimed the Criminal Investigation Department in Dubai had been looking for Andrews, but 'no one can find anywhere in the country that Lee has been detained'.
She added: "We are now wondering, as far-fetched as it is, that he’s a missing person now, I don’t know if he’s been kidnapped. No one can find him in any prison, any police station; the police can’t find any record of him."
