Kate Beckinsale broke down in tears as she emotionally addressed her weight loss and slammed cruel trolls in a new video.
The 52-year-old English actress has been flooded with 'nasty' comments about her weight in recent years, with social media users rudely saying she 'looks too thin'.
Now, the Click star has been forced to address the commentary in a new video on Instagram, where she reflected on a an extremely difficult year.
Kate tragically lost her mum Judy Loe earlier this year, who passed away at the age of 73 after a battle with cancer.

In the new video, which was posted on Wednesday (31 December), she wiped away tears as she told her followers: "2025 was a really really hard year. It was also the last year that my incredible mum was on this planet.
"So I feel really torn about letting go of it as well. But I just wanted to address the fact that I lost my stepfather a while ago, a couple years ago."

Talking about her devastating losses, Kate continued: "And I already watched my father die because my mum was in hospital and it was just me at the age of five.
"I watched my 31-year-old father die of a huge heart attack, and then I watched my stepfather die and I watched my mother degenerate and die."
"Such an incredible amount of suffering and what I will say, it doesn't make you feel very hungry."
Shutting down any rumours of anorexia, she emotionally explained that it's more like the 'shock' has led her body to 'close down'.
Kate said: "And I don't know if there's some kind of survivor guilt because it started after my stepdad died and it's not like anorexia where you're starving and it's a kind of willpower thing.
"It's like your body has closed down. I think it's shock and trauma.
"I think watching, especially alone the people you love the most dearly suffer and have horrific and sometimes violent and awful deaths, really makes you not hungry."

She added: "Changes in appetite is probably the first one, even after a bad breakup I think it's the first one. But I will say that because of my dad and my stepdad, I am so grateful. It wouldn't occur to me to see somebody transparently suffering and write something nasty about their appearance. It just wouldn't cross my mind."
Hitting out at the mean trolls who leave comments about her weight, while praising her parents, Kate said: "I'm so grateful to have been brought up by people who raised me like that and I really miss them.
"For all the people who are inconvenienced by me being too thin or too anything or not what they expect me to be like, I really really wish that you had parents like I had. I absolutely refuse to become like you.
“If that’s the legacy from my parents that I would never ever do that to anyone, I’m so f**king proud of it."
