Beliebers all across the globe have been thrown into a total frenzy ever since Justin and his wife, Hailey Bieber, announced the exciting a new that they were expecting their first child.

Hailey, 27, and Justin, 30, took to Instagram to share the exciting news earlier this month, posting a video along with a series of photographs showing off the baby bump.

Fans of the celebrity couple were beyond thrilled at the news, loving the adorable detail the soon-to-be parents included in their announcement video as well as pointing out Justin's ex, Selena Gomez's reaction and even praised his first girlfriend, Caitlin Beadle's response to the announcement.

And now the latest update in the saga sees fans certain they've worked out the 'Boyfriend' singer's cryptic caption in a post about Hailey.

Justin took to Instagram today (24 May) to share a photo dump of him and Hailey with his 293 million followers.

The first shot showed Hailey cradling her growing bump alongside some other selfies and touristy snaps.

He accompanied the post with a pretty mysterious five-word caption which has clearly sent fans into a spiral.

"They wish baby, they wish," Justin wrote.

Now, any die-hard fans of the Biebs will remember that, back in 2010, he released a song titled 'That Should Be Me' which was the tenth and final track on his first studio album, My World 2.0.

Some of the lyrics on the song, which is now over a decade old, read: "That should be me holdin' your hand / That should be me makin' you laugh / That should be me, this is so sad / That should be me, that should be me."

Poetry.

And people now reckon Justin's caption on his latest IG post is a direct reference to that - especially after all his fans rushed to social media uploading posts using the song in reaction to the pregnancy announcement.

"I do wish that was me," admitted one Instagram user, as another echoed: "That should be me."

"OMG 'THEY WISH' AS IN THE 'THAT SHOULD BE ME' TREND," pointed out a third hawk-eyed fan.

And a fourth chimed in: "He's definitely talking about all the OG Beliebers saying 'that should be me'."

"Caption so real," praised a fifth while a final Instagram user penned: "My guy is shutting the haters down!"

Following the announcement, fans were also all making the exact same prediction about what's to come in a few months - namely that Justin's hit throwback single featuring Ludacris 'Baby' will see itself a renaissance.

Well, I guess we'll have to just wait and see.
