Justin Bieber gave incredibly 'wholesome' answer when asked how many kids he wants

A resurfaced video has melted Justin Bieber fans' hearts in the wake of his recent baby announcement news.

The 'Peaches' hitmaker and wife-of-five-years Hailey Bieber took to Instagram on Thursday (9 May) to share the exciting news that they're going to be parents.

The pair didn't verbally announce their baby joy, but instead shared a sweet video of them renewing their vows as Hailey debuted a blossoming bump.

With Hailey, 27, and Justin, 30, being married for five years already, the question of kids has often cropped up for the celebrity pair.

Back in 2018 before they tied the knot, Hailey had expressed her hopes of becoming a mum one day.

"I love kids and I can’t wait to have my own," she told Vogue Arabia at the time. "I would say now that's a closer reality."

Meanwhile, in a birthday tribute to Hailey in 2022, Justin teased at the next 'season' for them would consist of babies.

But it's a 2020 response that was hailed as 'wholesome' by Justin's fans when he was asked about becoming a dad on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Ellen point-blank asked the singer: "How many kids you gonna have, and when?"

"I'm going to have as many as Hailey is willing to push out," Justin replied. "I'd love to have myself a little tribe, but it's her body and [it's] whatever she wants to do."

Ellen then asked how many kids Hailey wants, to which Justin said 'a few'.

Further prying into the prospect of them becoming parents, Ellen asked why it hadn't happened for them yet.

To which Justin explained: "I think Hailey still has some things she wants to accomplish as a woman, and I think she's just not ready yet - and I think that's okay."

I mean, how sweet can you be?!

Justin was quickly praised for her response to Ellen's questions and for being so supportive of his wife's decisions.

"It’s wonderful how you can tell he respects his wife and supports her decisions and opinions," one person commented on the YouTube clip.

"You can tell Justin is actually a really wholesome person," said another.

"You can really tell Justin already wants to have kids but he respects Hailey so much he's willing to wait," someone else gushed.

"I honestly love them so much as a couple and it seems like they really do care for each other."

A fourth viewer went on: "Love that he respects the fact that she's the one that has to carry the child."
