Justin Bieber has issued a scathing social media statement after airing out his text messages with an unnamed former ‘friend’.
The singer, 31, left his followers baffled on Monday (16 June) when he shared an Instagram post of a series of back-and-forth messages with an unknown recipient.
It comes as the latest in a recent string of bizarre social media posts that have left fans worried about the singer.
The first screenshot from his post reads: "I will never suppress my emotions for someone.

"Conflict is a part of relationship. If you don't like my anger you don't like me."
The messages continued: "My anger is a response. To pain I have been thru. Asking a traumatized person not to be traumatized is simply mean."

The second screenshot showed the response from whoever he was texting, which read: "I'm not used to someone lashing out at me. It's not that I don't see and feel your anger."

"Ouch," Justin then replied: "This friendship is officially over. I will never accept a man calling my anger lashing out."
He went on: "I enjoyed our short lived relationship. I wasn't kidding when I told u I didn't need u as a friend. I have good friends. Who will respect these boundaries.
"I thought u were a p*ssy," Justin seemingly penned in the final screenshot.
He added: "Which is why I always kept my distance but I was willing to give you the benifit [sic] of the doubt.

"This confirms u were the p*ssy I always thought u were."

"Please leave me alone now," Justin signed off with, alongside the middle finger emoji.
The recipient then wrote: "I'm a p*ssy?,” to which Justin simply hit back with: "Blocking u now."

And now, after, understandably, a lot of concern from worried fans in the comments section, Justin has issued an update.
The ‘Boyfriend’ singer has made it clear he doesn’t want anyone to check in on him or ask if he’s okay.
He wrote on his Instagram story: “Quit asking me if I’m okay. Quit asking me how I’m doing. I don’t do that to you. Because I know how life is for all of us.

“It’s hard. Let’s encourage our people not to project our insecurities on to one another. Your concern doesn’t come off as care.”
Seemingly hitting out at someone in particular, Justin added: “It’s just oppressive weirdo."
He also went on to add the song 'Rodeo' by rapper Juvenile to the post.
After posting the baffling screenshots with no caption, the hitmaker went on to post two more pictures to his grid.
The first included selfies of Justin donning bright neon pink sunglasses and wearing a T-shirt that reads: “Where is the romance?”

And the next post showed him holding a suspicious looking cigarette.
Despite him making it clear he doesn’t want people to ask how he’s doing, concerned followers of the star couldn’t help but check in in the comments.
One social media user wrote: “Chill Bieber. Take a step back. Your kid is looking up to you.”
Another added: “Some things are better dealt privately J.”
Meanwhile, a third quipped: “Someone please intervene and get this dude some help before it’s too late.”
And a fourth chimed in with: “It must suck being famous, so many opinions about what you should or shouldn't do.”
