Justin Bieber has sparked debate after fans noticed the singer taking part in an unsafe hobby that some have branded as ‘crazy’.

A surprise new 21-track album, performing ‘Snooze’ on stage with SZA, and featuring his child and wife Hailey Bieber, 28, in the visuals for fan-favourite song ‘YUKON’ - 31-year-old Justin Bieber is truly having his moment.

The two-time Grammy Award-winning artist also recently launched his new fashion brand, Skylrk, and is set to celebrate son Jack Blues’ first birthday later this month.

Amid this active era, Justin has been keeping fans updated on his whereabouts via Instagram.

In the last week alone, the star has shared workout snapshots, pictures of him recording vocals and enjoying downtime with his friends and family.

However, one particular set of images has some fans’ backs up, with some noticing that the father-of-one has been handling guns.

A shirtless Justin can be seen aiming various guns in multiple Instagram posts at what appears to be a gun range.

Justin using weapons has sparked conversation among his 294 million Instagram followers, with some users coming out to praise the Canadian for his new hobby.

“Oh redneck Bieber has been unlocked I’m here for it,” said one Belieber.

A second replied: “Justin Bieber living life free of the industry handcuffs now . Good to see.”

“Hahaha liberal heads exploding again haha this has been the best week ever!,” remarked someone else.

Amid the support, the ‘Baby’ hitmaker has also seen an outpouring of negativity from fans, with one typing: “Hunting is not good.”

“Promoting guns with your past videos of alcohol and smoking weed don’t CLOCK,” another commented.

A third wrote: “Why in USA is still so popular to shoot animals just for fun?”

“I think this shooting business is crazy, you're still beautiful, but this bit is so,” a fourth penned followed by three woozy Emojis.

TMZ reported that the firearms pictured were rifles, shotguns and sidearms, and that he appeared to be doing a ‘little skeet shooting’, rather than harming wildlife in the area.

The ‘Sorry’ favourite has previously spoken on the topic of gun laws, telling Billboard in 2015 that if he ever became President, he would ‘fix’ some of the legislation.

“In Canada, we don’t really have any guns and there’s no gun violence, so that really solves it," he said. "I mean, they think that it’s for protection and stuff, but it always ends up in some bozo’s hand.”

Rhode Beauty founder Hailey has also spoken out about her dislike for guns.

Discussing the fact that she has a tattoo depicting a handheld weapon, the model told ELLE: "I think at 18, I was like, ‘Yeah! That looks cool’. But now, as a 24-year-old, I would never do that. I think guns are violent."
