Hailey Bieber has clapped back at the critics with a cryptic new statement about 'apologies'.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday (22 Apr), the Rhode beauty boss shared a snap of some olives, over which she wrote: "All good on apologies - the therapy's already paid for it." She added: "Save it!"
The no-context post quickly sparked mass speculation online, with Hailey's followers questioning who her message could have been directed at.
It didn't take long for some eagle-eyed internet users to equate the 29-year-old's fiery plea with criticism she's faced in the years prior, specifically with regard to her relationship with Justin Bieber.
Hailey shared a fiery statement online (Instagram/@haileybieber) Not only has Hailey ceaselessly battled rumours of secret beef with Justin's ex, Selena Gomez, but she's also been forced to address speculation surrounding an end to her marriage on several occasions.
Apparently, however, the couple's recent appearance at Coachella triggered many of these trolls to take a dramatic U-turn on their assertion about Hailey.
Not only did many praise her for supporting her Canadian hubby, who headlined the festival over two weekends in a row, from the sidelines, but some hailed her humour after she pushed gal-pal Billie Eilish to the stage to be Justin's 'One Less Lonely Girl'.
In the caption of a post shared on TikTok - captioned 'Hailey Bieber I owe you an apology' - one former hater claimed: "Honestly, I love changing my mind when things prove me wrong, so I have no shame in saying I was not her biggest fan, but after all of these things HOW COULD I H8 ????"
Hailey has been praised for supporting her husband during his Coachella performances (Instagram/@haileybieber) In another video, one TikToker claimed: "I think a tonne of us owe Hailey Bieber an apology, self-included. There is simply no way that we would have gotten the best version of Justin Bieber in a decade over the last weekends of Coachella if he wasn't married to this woman.
"That man seems happy, she seems happy, their son seems happy."
Linking these statements of regret to Hailey's sassy statement, several long-time fans of the Mrs Bieber continued to fight in her corner.
One X user noted: "In 2023, Hailey Bieber had everyone against her in a massive hate train orchestrated by false things and victim complexes. Now everyone is magically 'on her side' and looking to 'apologise', but the damage is already done; she did therapy and doesn't need it. What a QUEEN."
Several long-time fans have continued to defend her (Instagram/@haileybieber) Another wrote: "She’s shading people online saying they owe her an apology bc they misjudged her and like her now. The same people that harassed her for years during the hate trains."
"To put her through something most people wouldn’t even survive, to then turn around and apologise for perpetuating the misogynistic hate train just bc the media swung the other way…That’s how you know the ppl who took part in this have no spine," a third went on. "I'm so glad she said this!!"
