Kath Ebbs has given their first interview since partner JoJo Siwa brutally ended their relationship hours after an appearance on Celebrity Big Brother last month - and let's just say, they refused to hold back.
This week, Australian activist Ebbs - who goes by they/them pronouns - savagely slammed Siwa's rumoured new beau Chris Hughes for his behaviour on the British reality show, and revealed the impact that such a public break-up has had on their mental health.
For those in need of a reminder, the star-studded series kicked off in April, with Dance Moms child star Siwa, 21, having signed up alongside 32-year-old Love Island favourite Hughes.

Whilst the latter entered the Big Brother house with no romantic ties back at home, Siwa had been publicly dating partner Ebbs since January.
The dancer/singer announced last year that she identifies as a lesbian, after first coming out as a member of the LGBGTQ+ community in 2021.
During her time on the show, however, Siwa admitted she'd rather identify as queer, rather than lesbian.

At the same time these televised conversations were being had, however, the 'Karma' singer also appeared to be forging a close friendship with Hughes - known for previously having dated reality star Olivia Attwood and Little Mix's Jesy Nelson.
The closeness appeared to begin after the Brit defended Siwa from a homophobic attack launched by controversial contestant Mickey Rourke - a scandal Ebbs chimed in on online at the time.
After going on to spend almost every waking moment in the house together, viewers at home began suspecting 'there could be something there' between the pair, with Hughes also being accused of 'creepily' flirting with Siwa by discussing 'turn ons' with the American.

In the days after the show came to an end, social media star Ebbs claimed that Siwa had abruptly ended their relationship at the CBB wrap party.
"I was told there were confused feelings there," they explained in an emotional video. "And they had realised in the house I wasn’t the person they wanted to spend the foreseeable with."
Elsewhere, Ebbs added: "It seems to me I have experienced a version of [love bombing]. Being told I’m the love of someone’s life, being asked to marry them before this social experiment."
In the weeks since announcing their break-up - while Siwa has continued hinting at a potential romance with Hughes in a series of social media posts - Ebbs has remained silence.

That is, until this week, when they told Betches the split has left them the 'most depressed I’ve been in six years.'
Naming and shaming the former islander for the part he played in the scandal, they continued: "I’m telling you right now, if Chris Hughes had a girlfriend or if he was even just casually seeing someone on the outside and was acting like that, I don’t know what kind of conversation we would be having."
Ebbs went on to tell the publication: "I believe there is a small percentage of the conversation that is influenced by people’s either unconscious or conscious homophobia."

Though they told the outlet they don't believe any cheating went down behind the scenes, they emphasised: "I think my boundaries were crossed in a way that felt like a betrayal of trust repeatedly around affection.
"I believe she made a lapse in judgment, and I was obviously collateral in that, and I wish that didn’t happen because it was incredibly hurtful.
"But I do not believe that she had malicious intent in that interaction."
Ebbs also discussed the homophobic incident that occurred on the show, believing it set the precedent for Siwa and Hughes' close relationship.
"I genuinely just thought that because of the Mickey Rourke thing, she had kind of trauma bonded a bit to Chris as he was the only one that stood up for her and didn’t gaslight her," they continued.
"So I thought that was a trauma bond that had kind of gone too far because of the environment in which they were in."
Discussing the impact the split has had on their wellbeing, Ebbs admitted: "There have been so many times in the past month when I’ve thought about disappearing when this all feels way too overwhelming.
"The person who used to be my support system has not only vanished but turned against me and allowed this behaviour to continue towards me.
"Everyone’s talking about me, but not to me."
Sadly, they added: "I feel voiceless, and that’s a really big trigger for me because of things that I’ve grown up with.
"People are calling me names. People are making assumptions about my character.
"And when you’re in it, it feels like it’s never going to go away."
