Taylor Lautner and wife Taylor Lautner tease unborn baby’s name - fans will be thrilled
Taylor Lautner and his wife, also named Taylor Lautner, have given fans another clue about their baby girl’s name.
And yes, the name you’re thinking of might just be ‘in the mix’.
The Twilight star, 34, and his wife, a 29-year-old registered nurse who goes by ‘Tay’, announced they would become parents later this year.
The Taylors shared the news with fans on Instagram back in March with the cheeky caption, “What’s better than two Taylor Lautners?”

Fans were thrilled with the news, and the possibility of a third Taylor Lautner. The parents-to-be, who have since shared that they are expecting a baby girl, have confirmed that they haven’t ruled out calling her Taylor Lautner.
During an interview on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Tay was asked about the baby names the couple were considering.
Alex Cooper asked: “Was there any consideration of naming your child Taylor?”
“It may be in the mix,” Tay teased.
She added: “We will find out when the baby comes. I feel like if I don’t name my baby Taylor, the internet’s literally gonna cancel me.”
She joked: “I’m gonna get cancelled.”
The two Taylors would also consider the name Taylor Lautner even if they were expecting a little boy, too. Which shouldn't come as a big surprise considering we know that the name Taylor Lautner can be unisex.
“We used to always joke that if we’re having a boy, we’d name him Taylor and call him T.J.,” she revealed on the podcast.
The Taylors were introduced by Mr Lautner’s sister, Makena Moore during his break from acting in 2018.
“I wanted to take a step back and enjoy life and spend some time with my family and friends,” he told PEOPLE in January 2022. “And I met my fiancée out of it, so it all worked out.”
They tied the knot in 2022, and Taylor’s wife, Tay, was born Taylor Dome. After marrying, she took her husband’s last name, becoming Taylor Lautner as well.
Shortly after the wedding, the then-newlyweds spoke on The Today Show about what it's really like having the same name as your spouse.
Co-host Sheinelle Jones questioned: "Your friends and family, they call you (the actor) Taylor, and they just call you (his wife) Tay?"
Tay explained that it can be confusing, but to make things easier for people, she often goes by the shortened version of her name, and her hubby goes by Taylor.
They also go by 'girl Tay' and 'boy Tay,' to help eliminate any miscommunications.
She said, "Yeah, we’ve kind of got boy Tay, girl Tay going on. And that is how they differentiate it. But now I’m always girl Tay, and he’s always boy Tay - even when we’re not together."
In an Instagram video shared with fans on June 7, Taylor and Tay sat on the sofa in front of a laptop as they clicked through the steps to find out their baby’s gender.
“Out little secret is now yours,” the couple captioned the sweet Instagram post.
Fans responded to the gender reveal video by urging the couple to name their baby girl Taylor.
“Taylor Lautner III ?” one Instagram user replied in the comments, as another excited fan said: “They’re gonna have a little Taylor."
“Is she gonna be named Taylor,” someone else wrote.
Similarly, another commenter shared: “Pls name her Taylor!!!!”
