No one’s first time is perfect and we all know virginity stories are often awkward and cringe-inducing.
Of course it’s no different for celebrities, although most famous faces aren’t quite as keen on sharing them as Joe Jonas.
Back in 2016, Joe left fans shocked when he spilled all and revealed the Hollywood star, who he was also dating at the time, he lost his virginity to.
However, it seems she didn’t take his kissing and telling too well as she then issued her own response to his very public revelation.

The actor, 35, whose divorce from Game of Thrones' star Sophie Turner was finalised in September 2024, made the personal admission on none other than Reddit.
It came as part of an ‘Ask Me Anything’ thread on the social media app, where the Camp Rock legend opened the floor to questions from his fans - and seemingly nothing was off limits.
When one user quizzed the Jonas brother on who he lost his virginity to, he didn’t hold back on the awkward details, including who he'd borrowed a condom from and how he was in ‘dire need’.
Joe hinted that his first sexual encounter was with his former girlfriend and Twilight star Ashley Greene, with fans quickly putting the pieces together.
Nonchalant as ever, Joe wrote: “I dated a girl named Ashley, so just Google it to figure out which Ashley that is.
“It's quite the great story because I didn't have any condoms, so I went to our drummer, Jack's room, who was my roommate at the time and I demolished his room looking for them. Found them underneath his underwear drawer. When he came home, he thought somebody broke into his room because his whole room was demolished because I was in dire need.”
The star joked: “ Needed to happen then and now. Safety first, kids.”
But, Ashley was seemingly not too pleased about her ex-boyfriend’s glaring honesty.
On her Instagram account just one day later, the actor posted a picture of the timely quote: “Class is timeless.”
Ouch.
Joe and Ashley’s romance was short-lived as they began dating in summer 2010, before calling it quits in March 2011.
In a 2013 interview with Vulture, he called it his ‘first serious relationship’ and candidly revealed why they ended up calling time on it.
“We were together for almost a year. I was living out in L.A. by myself, and at the end of the day, long distance didn’t work. It's incredibly difficult." he told the publication.
“After Ashley, I took two or three years to just be single. I was hooking up and having fun.”
Although you wouldn’t think so from his blasé attitude to sex, Joe once vowed to abstain from sex and even wore a purity ring alongside his brothers and bandmates.
During their early career, the famous siblings wore the rings as a symbol that they were abstaining from sex before marriage, but the idea soon fizzled and they removed them as they got older.
It seems that it's still a bit of a sore topic for Joe, as he made a reference to them in a TikTok video, which included the caption: "Triggered by accessories."
