Actor and comedian Jessie Cave has lifted the lid on the highs and lows of a successful OnlyFans career this week.
The much-loved Harry Potter star, famed for her appearance as Lavender Brown, Ron Weasley's temporary love interest in the film series, announced in March that she'd launched an account on the content creation site to bag some extra cash.
Aware of the platform's reputation as a hub for adult and x-rated pay-for media, however, she emphasised at the time that she only plans to share content surrounding her astoundingly long hair.

Promising videos and snaps with a 'slutty Mormon' vibe, Cave previously told listeners of her Before We Break Up Again podcast that she hopes to acquire fans with a certain 'fetish' - adding that this 'doesn't necessarily mean' anything explicit.
"It's very much geared toward people who have an interest or fetish with hair," the British comedian explained. "I do a lot of videos with my hair on Instagram and I have now for a while. I just noticed that I always get comments."
Claiming the vast majority of her subscribers are simply seeking 'the best quality hair sounds' and are partial to a bit of ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response), Cave added: "They’re never sexually depraved or lascivious."

"It's never dirty comments, but I do get lots of interest in the hair thing and I just thought, 'F**k it, I'm going to do something that is very niche'."
And whilst she previously described her experience on the site as 'liberating', the 38-year-old revealed this week that she's recently seen the dark side of the content site.

Writing on her Substack, Cave told her fans (via The Independent): "It’s gotten a little nasty. I feel a little gross, a little scared. I am receiving too many lurid messages and don’t like being sent unsolicited d***s."

Despite the much-loved funny-woman's OnlyFans bio warning potential followers that she 'will not do explicit sexual content', she says her invitation for fans to message her privately often leads to her receiving graphic messages.
"No matter how many times I say I am not doing sexual content, I get a message within two seconds asking to see c*m in my hair," Cave went on.
"Or if I would just please f***ing consider full frontal."
Unfortunately for the actress, however, she claims that the impressive financial rewards that come with OnlyFans content means she's 'become dependant' on the app for income.

The mother-of-four admitted: "It’s proof of my failure to make (or rather, keep hold of) money as an actress and writer. I’ve got nothing to show for 18 years of work in the arts industry.
"I’ve rented for 18 years and drained all my money on that and self-funding my YouTube videos or Edinburgh [Fringe Festival] shows."
Cave added that the upkeep of a successful OnlyFans account is something she also finds particularly draining, and 'dreads' having to spend evenings answer questions and queries submitted to her by subscribers.

"I dread the evenings because I know I have to message rather than zone out watching tv," she wrote. "I’ve stopped reading because I feel like it’s not using my time efficiently: any spare moment when I’m not with the kids I should be making money and keeping my fans subscribed.
"I’m on a content treadmill and I can’t get off, send help."
